We got sick. Not sure it was gluten related as my wife is the celiac and I am not - we both got sick. We noticed the water bottles we were given already had the seals cracked and we started getting food poisoning type symptoms that woke us up early the following morning. We think maybe they re-used the water bottles and filled them with tap water which is not safe for consumption for foreigners.
Aside from that, the food was not the greatest. Lacked flavor and was very basic. The noodles were seemingly gluten free, had the usual texture and were penne instead of linguine as described on the “normal” menu. The price was more than any other meal we had in Saigon as well.
Check Google reviews before you go as there were a few that mentioned food positing type symptoms after eating as well - wish we had looked at them first.
Great experience here tonight. They have a full menu for gluten-free pasta which was delicious. Forgot to take pictures of the food because we were so hungry! Drinks were great too, and the atmosphere and staff were super. A little more expensive than we expected, around €45 for mains and drinks for two, but overall excellent and a great gluten-free option. Would recommend!
Amazing gluten free pasta in Ho Chi Minh. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful.
Lovely Italian place with knowledge about gluten. They can make each pasta gluten free as far as I know, great choice. Instead of complementary bread, you will get complementary veggies and dip to start with. Also you can chose for half portions which is great. I had a very good Pasta a la Norma! Obviously watch out with the parmesan wheel where you WILL get cross contaminated. When you just want it sprinkled on top they have a different parmesan slice.
