Ciao Pasta Trattoria

I ate here today. My server assured me they would be very careful when preparing my food. I ordered a pasta dish with chicken and tomato sauce. I am now very sick. Definitely got glutened.

This was such a frustrating experience. I wanted to love this place based on the other reviews. I came here to order takeout for myself. I asked about the pasta and the front person told me that I couldn’t trust it because often the water from the regular pasta “might” co-mingle with any gf pasta water. She told me it was safer to order the pizza and went to tell the kitchen staff to take precautions. I ordered the margarita pizza. The flavor was fine. My stomach is a little off today, the day after, so I probably won’t go back.

They made the most delicious, homemade pasta and pizza dough, both gluten free they’re very conscious of celiac’s disease, and bend over backwards to accommodate us and tweak the menu

Amazing pasta!! They have gluten free pasta and pizza and they said the pasta is cooked separately. I had the truffle pasta with mushrooms and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Had the gluten free margarita pizza. Pizza was thin crust and tasted okay to me. I only asked a few questions regarding safety but I trust the reviews here and was starving. It's a fancy restaurant but pizza was priced right at $20 for a large size. It was big enough to split with another person or two. We had just came from the beach and noticed many people were dressed casual but some were dressed up. Staff was nice and welcoming. Were were served fairly quickly. The do take reservations though so I guess they get pretty busy at times.. The rest of my dining party was not eating gluten free. They all cleared their plates and said it was delicious. We didn't get appetizers or anything. Total for our meal for 4 was $125

We came for lunch and they had delicious gluten free pasta! They can prepare with any of the preparations except the ravioli and lasagna.

They also offered GF pizza though we didn’t try that. They have a nice variety of salads and appetizers that would be GF also.

Plus a lovely setting!
