Summer 2019: Better experience this summer! As soon as we got there, we asked if the fryer was gluten-free, and they were quick to assure us that it is. My daughter lived having gluten-free poutine. The kids' menu comes with a treat for dessert, so they gave my kids the only gluten-free option, which was a coconut/chocolate macaroon. Not a huge hit with the kids, but better than nothing.

--------- Summer 2018: Atmosphere and menu looked great. Lots of GF offerings, including fried chicken and fries. We had heard that the chef has Celiac, so it felt promising. But once we started asking questions, we learned that the fryer is now used for gluten flatbread, and so it is no longer dedicated. That lwft us with virtually no options for our 5-year-old other than the world's 2 smallest chicken skewers and a couple of slices of carrots and cucumbers. The plate looked incredibly sad next to her 2-year-old sister's massive plate of grilled cheese. The proportions made no sense. So once she finished it (which took about 2 minutes), we ordered another skewer, and were charged full price for another entire kids meal ($8 each). It would have made more sense to order her an adult meal, and wpuld have been more cost effective. The entire experience was very disheartening, watching the disappointment when we had to tell her that even though stuff is listed as "gluten-free", it really isn't at all. I so wish restaurants wouldn't so that. The owner sounded as surprised as we were to find out about the fryer, so I think this was a new and unfortunate turn of events for them.

Celiac friendly?
