I’ve eaten at Cali many times and felt safe UNTIL yesterday. I ordered one of my favorite GF/DF meals, the Big Italy with grilled chicken and spaghetti squash. I emphasized celiac and severe gluten allergy several times and asked the waiter to double check the ingredients with the kitchen staff. Within an hour my stomach was gurgling. Not long after, I was stopping at every gas station restroom on my way home. It’s been over 24 hours and I’m still sick with digestive issues and a migraine. Normally a small cross contamination causes my skin issues. The severity of this reaction has me convinced that there was a significant amount of gluten in my dish. Cali was the first and only meal I consumed yesterday. I’m very disappointed as I really liked this restaurant.

Items clearly marked on the menu. Delicious bowls. My favorite so far is the Lean & Clean with coconut avocado rice. We love this place and have been a number of times with no gluten issues.

One of my regular go-to's and they've always taken care of my allergy.

After messing up my salad twice with croutons or the wrong dressing... they brought me a gluten filled cookie to apologize.
Maybe ok if you like to eat lettuce as a cold salad. I like a hot meal with meat.

Manager told me that all items marked on menu GF are not actually GF “We need to update that”
No
This place was great but the staff completely turned over now it's filthy (we found a dirty tee-shirt inside our booth) and staff incompetence doesn't give me a lot of confidence in the safety of the food, gluten free or otherwise. Eat at your own risk. It's a shame.
