We came here several times while in Florence. Everything was absolutely delicious - pizza, pasta and salads. They are super nice too! I am a sensitive celiac and I felt so safe. Don’t miss this if you are in Florence!

We came across Ciro & Sons while walking to the Piazza Del Duomo. Their sign said “best gluten free pizza in Italy” and in this case, they were NOT kidding!!!

The menu is available 100% gluten free and lactose free. However, this does not mean that there is a trade off in taste or texture. We ordered more than I should admit (multiple appetizers, a pizza, an entree each, and desserts…)

The bruschetta was something else. The pizza was margarita THE BEST PIZZA I have ever tasted, gluten free or not. Pasta dishes were up there with some of the best, and the dessert was phenomenal. Tiramisu in particular was 10/10.

Cannot recommended this place enough. We might even delay our trip to Rome so we can come back here for lunch today

The gluten free options available here were amazing, and the food we received tasted great. There are two kitchens to reduce any cross contamination. Only downside to this place was that they seemed to be cramming everyone in, we were basically sat with the people next to us as the tables were so close. Hands down the best GF pizza on the planet. Reminds me of Pepe’s pizza in New Haven, CT. Burn marks on the bottom. Crispy. Indistinguishable from regular pizza, and I had the vegan cheese!! Great sauce and toppings too. A must visit!!

AMAZING!!!! My husband is celiac and finding a place that conscientious of that is great. Anything on their menu can be made GF. When they bring it out to you it even has a small sticker indicating Gluten Free from the kitchen so it doesn’t get contaminated or confused with another plate. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and helpful. They speak English but we did try and speak Italian first. We actually ate here for lunch and dinner because it was so good and my husband felt comfortable with the level of GF safety. 5 stars plus. We had the gnocchi and Tuscan steak for dinner. Delicious. Family run business.

I’m in heaven! Ciro & Sons has become my favorite restaurant in Florence and maybe in all Italy!! Everything on the menu can be made gluten-free and lactose free—so rare in other States I doubted I could find it at all in Italy. Not so. Cito’s had fresh pasta dishes—like eggplant parmigiana and gnocchi—that I haven’t had in years that is absolutely delicious. Plus, they bring you plates of olives and gluten-free pizza crust appetizer with an amazing garlic sauce that is to die for. If I can, I’ll go back again and try their pizza!

WOW! Amazing food, amazing service & amazing vibes! I have to order Gluten free (celiacs) and OH MY Ciro & Sons made my GF dreams come true! The ENTIRE MENU can be made GF, they have a separate kitchen/lab that they make the GF foods in and only the chefs who make GF food are allowed in there… no cross contamination what so ever! From the delicious wine, to the amazing waiter we had (who sent me home with extra garlic bread!), it was a wonderful dining experience. We had garlic bread (complimentary), delicious ceasar salad (with GF croutons!), had GF truffle ravioli which was amazing, and split 2 pizzas!! Would come back in a heart beat! Felt like I died and went to heaven where I could eat real pizza and pasta again. Insanely amazing food with many many choices. We had homemade fettuccine Alfredo with fresh truffle and tomato basil mozzarella pizza with a fresh burrata on top. Dessert was a chocolate filled crepe but we could have had cheesecake or creme brûlée and they even had gluten free Peroni beer. Run, don't walk here. Closed Sundays.

This restaurant was a great find! The gf pasta was great and the gf bread was quite good. We went back a second time for the gf pizza and it was delicious. The service was exceptional and the venue is very comfortable. We sat outside both times under the awning with her lamps and were quite cozy. I highly recommend this place for both gf and non-gf diners.
