THE BEST pizza I have ever had. Entirely delicious meal. Soooo worth it.
Terrible. In no way does this restaurant live up to the hype. The GF pizzas were completely soggy in the centre. This was the worst GF pizza I have ever had, especially compared to others I have tried in Italy. After such a bad dining experience the 15% service charge was only a sting at the end. Beware of the hype!
This place has amazing Gf Pizza!
I was super excited to eat here because of all the positive reviews. I ordered a pizza and talked to the waiter about my allergy and got sick right after eating it.
9 days of celiac travel in Italy, and this was my overall favorite.
Fabulous! Great wine list. The gf pizza and the gf tiramisu make you forget you're gluten free. Really good service on top of it all.
Wonderful meal. Our group ordered a variety of different things and everything was delicious. Pizza is fantastic (non-GF members of group even thought so). Best GF bread I’ve had in Italy. Large selection of desserts. Had tastiest GF tiramisu. Staff very knowledgeable about cross-contamination. Met owner and son who talked to us about importance of preparing food properly for Celiac customers. A bit more expensive. Great experience. Will go again.
You MUST come here! Their award winning GF pizza is incredible. The rest of the food is also amazing. They have a separate area to prepare GF food. Safe and ridiculously good!
Staff was knowledgeable. Happy to have pizza. Broad menu and crowd pleaser for gf and non
Best gf pizza I've ever had! I got one that had fresh burrata and pesto on it and it was amazing!
Pizza was incredible. Salad was great too.
Our first night in Florence we went to Ciro & Sons - both the gluten free and gluten food was delicious! Wonderful gf pizza, pasta and desserts! Friendly staff and so accommodating! When being served staff commented “gluten free”while placing each gf fish on the table. We will be going back for sure! Highly recommended !
4 out of the 5 of us are allergic to gluten and everything was amazing. Pizza crust was as good as a regular crust (says the guy who eats gluten and loves pizza) and the gnocchi other pasta and all the deserts were fantastic too.
Hubby loved the gluten free pizza-thin crusted, chewy texture. Wanted to return the next day for lunch but they were closed. The food was excellent and the right portions too- not too big and not too small!
They have the best gluten free food in Italy!! The service was excellent too! I loved Mama’s tiramisu.
The best pizza ever! You must come here if in Florence. You wouldn’t even know the difference. It’s soft and chewy but a little crunchy and bubbly. It is made in a separate kitchen upstairs with separate chefs so never near gluten. The tiramisu was amazing, strong espresso, and the banana caramel cheesecake was good too. You can buy the pizza flour to take home for 3 or 10 euro. Gluten eaters loved their meals as well
Fantastic! My wife has celiac as well as soy and gluten allergies. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating, and my she said it was the best GF pizza she’s ever had, hands-down. Would highly recommend.
Food was amazing and staff very knowledgeable.
YUM! Great outdoor ambience. Bruschetta was delicious. Must have desserts: tiramisu & cheesecake with caramel and banana. Waiters are also very handsome and friendly. We came 2x on our 1-week trip.
Go here for neopolitan style pizza (yes, real homemade dough). It is the GF pizza you were hoping for in Italy! The “claims” of being world champs for pizza made us think it was a tourist trap but it isn’t....it is the real deal...and the sons are there working with the owner for this great family owned pizza place. Loved it!
Traveling is always a time to be nervous about eating for me. However, Ciro & Sons have made my food experience in Florence absolutely amazing. I have eaten here 3x since arriving. Every dish I’ve had had been phenomenal. The staff is fantastic and remembered me when I returned the second time and gave me warm welcoming hugs my theirs visit. Ciro and his wife are so warm and present, the whole family makes the dining experience memorable. I’m so thankful for their attention to having a Celiac friendly kitchen. I look forward to coming back to Florence for many reasons, but definitely visiting this place is one. Please visit and give them business, you won’t be sorry!
Probably the best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten! Also the first time I have been able to order a gluten free calzone, and it was amazing! Also multiple choices for dessert and very friendly staff, would definitely recommend it!
The friendliest people ever! So much of the menu (including dessert) can be made gluten free and the pizza was great
Très bon restaurant sans gluten, pizzas et desserts délicieux. Personnel très sympathique, je recommande !
High-quality, homemade GF crust. The staff was knowledgeable and it was easy to get a gluten-free dinner. They had GF garlic bread (toast) before the meal as well as GF tiramisu for dessert. Would recommend!
Best gluten free pizza I have ever ate! Staff were so friendly and helpful!
Very good pizza crust and calzone. Da garabaldi was #1 for me, this a close second. 2.50 euro extra each gluten free and 15 percent service fee so remember you don't tip, in Italy they usually don't.
best gf pizza and tiramisu ever!! service is very friendly, great location and delicious wine! a MUST when travelling to florence.
Very great pizza. The crust is just a-ma-zing! Gluten free beer and the staff is very knowledge about gluten. You need to try the gluten free Nutella pancake.
I had the best gluten free pizza!! The food is delicious and the staff is very helpful! I highly recommend this place!!
Amazing service, gf pizza, gf bruschetta. Too full to try desserts! Would need a week to try it all!!
amazing menu if GF options. I might need to go for a week to try them all! GF lasagna and tiramisu was tasty. I want to back and try the pizza next. GF beer not bad either.
Fantastic food and service. Best GF pizza we have ever had.
Got to eat my first calzone in years, and all my gluten-eating friends agreed that the GF food was even better than the regular versions!
Amazing! They can make almost everything on the menu gluten free!
Amazing! Got to eat ravioli!
By far my favorite restaurant in Florence so far. Ravioli was better then any I've had even before going GF. They are very conscious of contamination. Also have several options for another allergies such as egg and dairy.
Amazing! I can not come up with a better word or description. Words can not explain how good this restaurant was or how conscience they were of gluten contamination. This was the best gluten free pizza and it actually had air bubbles! AIR BUBBLES! Delectable!
Best restaurant in Florence!!! Their lazanha is delicious!
If you're in Florence, do yourself a favor and come here! They have a dedicated kitchen space for the gluten free items. We started with some gluten free bruschetta, then an artichoke pie, and for the main course I had a pizza that looked like a calzone! For dessert a Nutella crepe. They also serve Peroni gluten free beer.
Amazing pizza and gf beer !!
This place was the highlight of our trip to Florence. Excellent service and food that is out of this world. I had the best GF pizza ever and the GF lasagna is to die for. Don't forget the cheesecake, Nutella crepes, and tiramisu for dessert!
Excellent GF restaurant. First calzone I've had in years and it was fantastic. I wanted to try everything on the menu. If you're celiac and are in Florence you have to eat here. They have GF beer, as well.
AMAZING! everything on the menu can be made gluten free...everything. the pizza was great and the crust didn't taste like cardboard like gluten free crust tends to taste like. staff was knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend. my celiac is very severe and I ate here without a problem.
What an incredible find. Very friendly to GF. Had fettuccine Alfredo, it was very good. Large GF dessert menu. Should note, the menu said GF pizza only available if you reserve it ahead of time.
they can make practically anything on the menu gluten free. can be pricier but pizza is 6-12 euros and pasta is 8-14 euros depending what you get. very very good food!
I have eaten here many, many times. So many gluten free options, and they sometimes bring gluten free bread to the table with olives. Pricey and a little touristic, but you cannot beat the pizza. Their other menu items are pretty good, but if you are looking for an authentic gluten free pizza in Italy, this is the place to go!
Excellent food and excellent service!! Enjoyed my final meal in Florence!!
This is easily the best catering restaurant to celiacs in Florence. I can easily see how one might eat here their entire stay in Firenze. They have gluten free bread, pizza crust, pasta and desserts - all less than a few hours old (except day-old, where applicable). I had the gf bread, margherita pizza and tiramisu along with a bottle of gf Peroni beer. Very reasonably priced and the taste is phenomenal - the rest of my family is non-celiac and thought my food tasted the best out of everything else. Ciro also sells a gluten free crust pizza kit that our waiter brought out to show us - will definitely be buying it to cook with in the states!
Very good place and great service! I bought the pizza mix to take home too!
