Great burger and fantastic fries with a dedicated fryer. Our order took a long time because it was so busy and they automatically comped half our meal. No air conditioning so it was warm inside.

Nice staff, good burger, but they definitely did not use a separate fryer for the fries. I’m currently glued to my toilet about 30 minutes after eating there. Beware of the dedicated fryer claim and make sure you follow through with them on that.

Best gluten free burger I’ve ever had. Choice of beef, chicken, turkey and vegan burgers. Dedicated fryer for fries and sweet potato fries!

Delicious meal!!!! Burgers were so impressive. Both regular fries and sweet potato fries were awesome, and nice big portions. Our little 5-year-old Celiac was able to get a kids' burger on a GF bun - the menu says it's Udis...whatever it was, it was impressive. The staff went out of their way to assure us they were keeping her patty away from all the others, and they extra cleaned the grill before cooking hers. Here is my favourite part - they have a dedicated fryer, but when we asked about that, they said unfortunately it was not working. When they sensed our disappointment, they quickly went back to the kitchen to set up a pot of oil so that they could do fries for her. Amazing service!!! Can't thank them enough. Really great experience.

Amazing food! I always get the mini cheeseburger with a GF bun and can even eat the truffle fries because they have a separate fryer. Hands down my fav. Restaurant to go to!

I've been here about five times and will continue to come back. This location does a great job of cooking a gluten free burger with fries. Their fries are the standout portion of the meal to me. They are hearty and crispy and you get more than enough for one person. The 1/2 pound burgers here are HUGE! Almost all of the burgers can be made GF. I recently got The Southern burger with pimento cheese, bacon, and mustard and found it to be incredibly tasty. I will say the burgers can be a little messy while eating but that is what napkins are for. I also love that they have at least 5 different ciders available and usually two of those are on tap. Their ciders are not just the normal ones either that you can get anywhere. I had a Potters rotating cider and the Blue Toad blonde, both delicious. I do want to caution you that though this specific location has a dedicated fryer, their location in Charlottesville DOES NOT! Will be coming back again!

Wow! They care. The food is excellent. We could even eat the fries because they don't use Vegetable (corn) oil. They use allergy free fine peanut oil. Come here!!! Ask for Bazin as a server. Randal was the manager. He came over to the table to double check our order. HaZaaaa!!

Citizen offers any sandwich on the menu on a GF bun, lettuce wrap, or without a bun entirely. There is a dedicated fryer for GF fries, and a couple GF Beers on the menu (as well as a variety of ciders)

They really only offered Udi’s hamburger buns and there is no separate fryer. Burger was good but they really aren’t gluten free friendly.

Very good food. Gf bun or lettuce wrap. Shared fryer is a downside.

Staff was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about what contained gluten. However, my boyfriend (non Celiac) & I both didn’t feel well after eating there, so we think our burgers were possibly undercooked.
