Celiac friendly

I ate breakfast here while on a business trip. They have several breakfasts options which are naturally gluten free. I got the “Healthy Start” and it was delicious. The service was also good. Will be visiting again!

I'm sorry everyone but I have to tell the truth. Many, if not all the positive reviews on here are posted by the owners, the owners friends, family and staff members. How do I know? Because I'm one of them.  The owners Lance and Cheri tells everybody they know to post positive reviews on here and yelp and any other review site they can find. They also make fake email addresses so they can sign up under different names and then post a positive review. They also threaten their staff if they refuse to post a positive review. So don't believe any of the positive reviews because they are mostly fake reviews posted by the owners and their friends. Lance and Cheri are not very nice people. They treat their staff like slaves and they yell and curse at them for the littlest reason. Lance has some serious anger and mental issues too. He really needs to see a psychiatrist and get some therapy and some medication. There is definitely something wrong with him. When Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives came their to do an episode for their TV show the producer had to tell Lance to smile. Lance is a very unhappy person and it's very hard for him to smile. Also, it was Lance and Cheri who called the Food Network and pretended to be a customer of Citrus and told the food network about their GREAT FOOD. And speaking about their food, it's not very good at all. Most of the food comes in containers and cans. Nothing is fresh nor does any of their food taste good. They get a lot of complaints. They also charge you for anything extra such as extra grave or sauce. If it's not on your plate when it arrives they consider it an extra and they charge you for it. If a customer complains about the food Lance throws a tantrum and tells the customer to get out of the restaurant. Both Lance and Cheri refuse to apologize to a customer if they complain about the food. Even Gay Fieri said the food was horrible. But for the sake of the TV show Gay Fieri had to pretend that the food was good. That's show business.  Last but not least, both Lance and Cheri are racist. They don't want Black people in their restaurant. This is already well known. They told me that they don't like Black people eating off their dishes or putting their silverware in their months. If they see any Black people on line waiting to get into the restaurant they make them wait forever. They call everybody else first and hope that the Black would-be customers leaves. They don't want them in their restaurant. This is the truth and I'm ashamed to said that I participated in posting some of the fake positive reviews. But the truth of the matter is that the food is not good at all and please don't believe all the positive reviews you read because they are fake.  I can only hope that God forgives me for deceiving the public and any person who went to Citrus looking for a good meal based on my fake review. Please forgive me.

Celiac friendly

We eat here almost every Sunday. I’m not diagnosed celiac but I definitely know when I’ve been exposed. My favorite is the crab omelette with home fries and gf toast!

They do have gluten-free bread which is nice but I was chastised by the waitress for asking for gluten-free bread and she continued to try and talk me out of it. Eventually another waitress took our table over. Food is good but way overpriced. They are not friendly or accommodating but they are busy enough so I guess they don't have to be.

really overpriced. I had the cobb salad. I have celiac and allergic to soy. I didn't get sick.

They have gluten free bread! So most sandwiches can be made gluten free. Awesome mimosa menu too. Unfortunately, they charge $2.00 per slice of bread...so my sandwich was an extra $4.00. Which I thought was a bit ridiculous.

Yummy breakfast and relaxed but nice atmosphere. Menu is marked with GF options, and after some probing we discovered that more things could be done GF, they just weren't marked because they came with biscuits or toast or something similar. All they had to do though was to sub in GF toast. So there ended up being more menu options than we originally thought, which was a nice surprise. Staff was very polite and helpful too. I didn't ask about separate prep space, so not sure about that.

A favorite spot for locals. They do cater to non gf patrons but I was pleased to find gf options on the menu and Udi's bread for toast and sandwiches. I can't endorse them as celiac friendly because I didn't inquire about a seperate food prep area, dedicated fryer, or staff training.
