Clair's Gluten free bakery

Couldn't recommend more. This was my third visit and if I lived locally I'd visit so much more often. Such a humble and diverse place. She even caters for those with a dairy allergy/intolerance, despite all the challenges of running a 100% gluten free facility.

Last time there weren't any bakery items available but understandably so as this is a family ran business and they prioritised menu items.

This time I've had so much selection, including a lemon cheesecake, blueberry and apple crumble, pie, cinnamon roll, so many lovely things to take back with me and enjoy during the week. The Xmas sausage rolls are incredible - turkey, cranberry and stuffing I believe? Very soft pastry.

Tassimo coffees on offer, lovely frothy ones, delivered to the table with a smile and nothing was too much trouble.

My visit last time, I had a hand-made pizza slice which I could choose my own toppings for. I got a pepperoni, red pepper and cheese slice which was lovely. Lots on the standard menu and specials, was overwhelmed with choice which was a lovely change to everywhere else.

Please visit this lovely place whole you still can, there is nothing like this for very far and I feel the owner puts her heart and soul into this place. Would 100% recommend if you are a coeliac, for the great service, the feeling of safety and lovely tasty food.

Would also recommend the Sunday dinners, imblown away by how tasty the cauliflower cheese is and the smooth texture of the sauce, very tasty gravy and such flavour in the meat.

Great staff, lovely food and don't have to worry about what to eat as all products are gluten free. Also vegan available on selected items or dairy free.
