I loved my experience at Coaster! My burger was phenomenal!! Our waiter was very nice and checked on our table often. I specified my gluten allergy and was able to order a gluten free bun with my burger. Their menu is clearly labeled with which items are GF (and Vegan). I did not have a reaction after eating here.

Based on other reviews we tried this place today. Lots of GF options and clearly marked on the menu. Had the bacon deviled eggs...yum! Ribs and BBQ chicken were excellent. Potato salad is the bomb! Other sides we tried were ok though I could have lived without the green beans. Hubby had the brisket chili. Very tasty and very meat forward..just so you know. Gave us GF buns instead of the normal toast. Server did a great job on the GF issue even going so far as to make sure we knew the packaged Oster crackers with the chil were not GF..even though that was obvious :-) So far no issues...will definitely be back.

GREAT FOOD! Can eat completely gluten free! Can get all bbq platters GF. Great GF Brisket chili! Can’t say enough good things! Sports bar atmosphere, lots of TV’s 😋

Awesome gluten free options! I got ribs the first time and they were delicious. The second time I tried the BLT with pork belly. They have gluten free buns which is a win! They had a few gluten free sides as well. It’s a cute little space but it can get loud. This restaurant is close to where we were staying so takeout is super convenient. Both times I ate here I did not get sick.

The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about gf. I had the veggie burger with a gf bun and it was really delicious, the best I’ve had. The other non celiac members of the family really enjoyed their food too. We went back for a second time! I would definitely recommend this place.

No separate GF menu or fryer. I told the staff I had celiacs but my feast for 2 came with toast touching the pickles and coleslaw. I’m assuming they didn’t use an allergy warning but I also didn’t check to see if toast would be on the platter. Their brisket is phenomenal and the staff is minimally aware of gluten allergies. I will come again and be more clear about cross contamination and request an allergy warning explicitly on my food.many sides are gluten free and their bbq sauce is as well!

went here for dinner and it was so great!! the atmosphere was so nice and the food was delicious!! although they are not completely gluten free, our waiter was extremely nice and she was very understanding about it and the menu showed clearly what was and wasn’t gluten free, had a lovely experience :)

Enjoyed the GF bbq options so much we went twice in one week. Staff was knowledgeable and patient in answering my questions. I have celiac and my husband does not. It was nice to be able to share a BBQ platter and sides. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the skinny chix plate. Large portion, very tasty, even had a gluten free roll. Service was excellent. No stomach issues or body aches afterwards so was a true gluten free experience for us.

Decent BBQ from a very touristy type place. Got the meal for 2 for $30 and it was more than enough food.

Heads up that parking is difficult since it’s so close to the park and beach.

Great option if in the area.

Great food. I had the pulled pork and brisket chili. They usually serve the meal with Texas toast. They substituted an Udi’s gluten free bun instead of the toast. No reaction.

This place was rad. They had everything marked super well with GF. I mentioned to the waitress that I have a gluten allergy and she made a note. The chef ended up sending her back to confirm I have celiac because the burger I ordered had something in it that I couldn’t eat. They removed and replaced that ingredient. This is going to become a goAto spot when I’m in the area!

Food was great but server didn’t appreciate cc risk and brought gf food and non gf food on the same plate. Beware - the fries aren’t gf which was a huge disappointment for my 14 year old!

Visiting from out of town and love to try local eateries. Was really excited to have GF wings based on a review but when I talked to the server she stated they shared the same fryer and I would have cross contamination. I was thankful for her knowledge as I would have gotten very sick. I had a burger on a GF bun and a side salad. The food was good, the service was great. Wish they offered true GF beer.

April 2019: The food here was delicious. My daughter is celiac and is highly sensitive to gluten and didn’t get sick after eating here. She had the GF wings with the BBQ sauce on them. (See photo.) I had the GF chicken Caesar salad. (See photo.) I’m not gluten intolerant but the salad was so good. The dressing is made in house. This restaurant is located across from the roller coaster at Belmont Park within walking distance of Mission Beach.

Food was delicious (bar food). Gf was clearly marked on the menu. Gf bun available. Both kids and adults enjoyed it. This is a “seat yourself” bar/restaurant. Indoor/outdoor combo. Lots of screens for sports and other fun activities like Jenga, food all, cornhole, pool. Steps from the beach and bike path, across the street from Belmont park.
