Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers

Checked reviews here and other sources and felt like it was worth trying. We brought our Nima tester and started with drinks and the buffalo chicken tot chos. It came back with smiles, so felt comfortable ordering… by the time the burgers came back and we Nima tested (both containing gluten and never took a bite), I was already becoming hypoglycemic with I guess from the tots (maybe I missed something on the sample). While my husband was driving us home, I became full hypoglycemic in the car, so for me a sensitive celiac it was a terrible experience. The waiter did say there was a dedicated fryer…so maybe it’s the standard cross contamination from the toppings?

Dedicated frier, gluten free menu and super kind staff. I had a burger and fries from their gluten free menu and didn’t get sick :)

My husband and I eat here all the time! The service is always great, I'm an extremely sensitive celiac and I've never gotten sick here. Their entrees are fantastic and they have a great app/drink menu.

They were amazing! I had the juiciest burger with a really good gluten free bun. They’re tots are gluten free, so I had those with cheese and bacon also! There’s a gluten free Rekorderlig passion fruit cider they have that is so good. I never post reviews but had to for this place. Our server Melissa (pretty sure that was her name), was on it with everything. She knew the gf menu, was fun and quick with the whole evening. I would recommend this place to anyone. They had a lot of tvs to watch sports. We went for the hockey game, the whole place gets into it. There’s a covered patio area too. It was a great way to have dinner and just hang out for a couple of hours. We will definitely be back a lot. Don’t know how to add pictures but a big gf menu, yummy lookin food and great atmosphere.

Food was great with large portion sizes. When we said celiac, they gave us a GF menu plus made the fries separate with a GF bun. Only not 5 stars because service was a little slow. But we are absolutely putting this restaurant on our list of Goto’s .

I eat here all the time. The staff is very knowledgeable. They have a dedicated fryer for fries. Never have had an issue with cross contamination.

the menu is gluten FRIENDLY, not free. not dedicated fryers. you have to read the menu and make your own decisions based on your own intolerances. but the food is amaaaaazing. yum yum yum. p.s. just because we have intolerances doesn't mean the world is responsible for us and owes us. please stop with the entitlement, it's our own responsibility to ask questions and make our own decisions. it's not everyone else's fault! The negative reviews kill me every time.

I eat out at restaurants frequently but even if they have a GF menu, I always ask questions to make sure the staff knows enough to not poison me with Gluten. This place had NO IDEA that gluten was toxic to some people. They have a (so called) GF Menu with a few things including fries. The fries are NOT cooked in a dedicated fryer and they have NO PROTOCOL to keep the GF food from getting contaminated. They said their GF menu was only for those people trying to "lose weight" and not for medical reasons. NEWS FLASH...GF diet does not help people lose weight. They were all completely uneducated about gluten and so much so that I feel they pose a health risk to anyone who needs to eat GF whether due to intolerance or celiac. Stay away!
