After reading the great reviews for this restaurant my boyfriend and I decided to head over. It was a fantastic choice. Having a gluten allergy can be scary since contamination can ruin your night. The dinner went great and I have no contamination symptoms!! We had the arepa for an app. It is a white corn cake with melted cheese on top, it is served with a green jalapeño sauce on the side. It was a great choice to start, so delicious. I had the Bandeja which was like a Columbian food sampler. SO GOOD. It included steak, a chorizo sausage, two types of plantains, red beans, rice and two eggs on top. It was really a treat to have this and I highly recommend it. The best part was each of our dinners came with a free glass of sangria, it was one of the best I've ever had.

The arepas were amazing. Knowledgable server and owner. This is a must eat place for any one with a food allergy. Bandeja was gluten free as well and is a Columbian sampler. The shrimp was also amazing.

By far both the best food and the best coffee we had during our trip. I called ahead and Zulma emailed me the gluten-free menu. I ordered the Arepa paisa con queso as a starter and the Delicious (seriously, that's its name! And it lives up to it!...lobster and shrimp with tomatoes and mushrooms in a white wine sauce over rice). My boyfriend had the Colombian Grace Salad and the Monserrate Steak. We finished the meal with hot chocolate. We went back to pick up coffee and hot chocolate to-go the morning we drove back. Be sure to check hours. They're open for dinner Tue-Sun and breakfast Sat/Sun.
