This is not a particularly Celiac friendly restaurant. During the preparation process, they coat the bottom of the pizza with regular flour before baking--so pizza is out if you're Celiac. The manager came and talked me through the menu and gave me the option of two pasta dishes and a salad that were actually gluten free. I decided to chance it on the cauliflower appetizer (which is fried in shared fryer) and ultimately did not get sick. Still, there are many other restaurants with more options. Coltivare certainly does not belong on any best gluten free restaurant options in Houston list.
