Great experience - great atmosphere, good food, hardly had to bat an eyelid about cross-contamination. Gluten free items clearly labeled, dedicated fryer, server was knowledgeable about cross contamination and checked when we asked about which desserts were GF. Everything is made from scratch in-house and the menu changes often since it’s farm-to-table. I had Buffalo cauliflower and fries as an appetizer and it was amazing (+ no gluten reaction).
Our waiter was very knowledgeable about gf and items were labeled on the menu. It’s a farm to bistro place using local farms and breweries (great cider on tap!) Apparently, they are affiliated with the local community college and provide instruction during the day. My son and I are both celiac and had a great experience!
I had the cultivate poutine and the beef short ribs which were delicious. No gluten reaction and I’m sensitive. They did not have flourless chocolate cake like mentioned. They had ice cream and gelato... waitress messed up and gave me ice cream which is fine because I can have dairy but it was gross and tasted like cardboard. Waitress didn’t know if fries were a separate fryer so I got the mashed potatoes with my entree... she said she’d check but I didn’t want to risk it. I ate the appetizer/sweet potato fries not thinking about it and didn’t get sick because my friend got them/I shared. Only 3 entrees on the menu gf. Very good and I’d go back.
Outstanding food, menu clearly marked with GF items and items that can be modified to be GF.
