Not very many options. They used to have several but not anymore.
Hated it. They say they can make it gluten free but no designated area. I could only order like one thing that I'm sure still wasn't safe. Would not recommend.
I have been here more than 20 times now, and I have never gotten sick. I am a very sensitive celiac, and I have brought many of my celiac friends and family members here too. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful. The owner/chef cleans everything down before cooking a celiac meal! It takes longer, but it is definitely worth the wait. I love the sandwiches at lunch. And the gnocchi or meatloaf are amazing for dinner. If you have a sweet tooth, the brownie dessert is decadent and delicious and big enough to share. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the Five Cities.
A popular new deli restaurant on the main street in Arroyo Grande. I was concerned about GF, but was assured by order taker that they had Gluten Free bread. Placed order with a request for GF bread and handling. Sandwich delivered with standard bread. I sent it back with the demand that all new ingredients be used. Waitress returned a couple of minutes later to tell me that bread was frozen and wait would be 15-20 minutes to thaw bread. I suggested toasting. Sandwich was very tasty with good bread, But I had a few stomachs issues soon after. By chance I met owner later in day. She assured me that she had made sandwich personally and had cleaned work area before making my sandwich. I forgot to ask about cleaning knife and toaster. She was quite defensive. Really do not think they realize the true need for a GF environment.
