I love your omelettes and so many delicious gluten-free things to choose from. And also that there is so much stuff that everyone can eat. The server told us that everybody is welcome here and that they try to find food for everybody. The hashbrowns are homemade and crispy eggs are fluffy the French toast is golden brown with a terrific texture and flavor. There was even a safe option for dairy allergic which was a vegan bowl with avocado and salsa added. Good coffee too.
I started off feeling a little disappointed because the online menu was outdated. They no longer had gluten-free pancakes but the friendly helpful young woman behind the counter cheerfully said, “We have gluten-free bread for sandwiches so we can make you French toast.”
Turned out it wasn’t just any old gluten-free bread either it had seeds and a hint of cinnamon cinnamon. It was delicious served with thick perfectly cooked bacon hot dark coffee, orange juice, maple syrup, and a big smile.
The atmosphere is a little quirky and just the kind of interesting family owned place that I love to find. Chain restaurants are fine when you want the same old thing that you always have, but if you’re feeling like you want something a little different and tastier, this is a great place to start
They also got me hooked on a TV series called “Quark science” all about fractals and numbers and absolutely addictive even with closed captions.
Looking forward to my next trip over to the coast.
