I ordered a custom rice bowl and did not have a reaction to it or the chips (made from corn). Our waitress was knowledgeable about which items contained gluten. The bowl was rather heavy on rice and light on the additions though. Very reasonable prices.

My celiac daughter got glutened here today. We were clear with the server about being celiac. She had eaten one of the tacos before we realized it was a flour tortilla. The server felt bad but the damage was done.

I love condados! We go often because I usually don’t like corn tortillas, but you can’t even tell these are corn! You can build your own tacos or order from the menu. Everything is clearly labeled whether or not it is GF. I have never had a reaction.

This restaurant does not take celiac disease seriously. The waiter was dismissive and disrespectful when we asked him to flag our order for an allergy. We ended up walking out without eating because we didn't trust that the food wouldn't be contaminated. The manager tried to correct the situation, but ultimately couldn't promise that the food would be safe. Would not recommend d this place to anyone with celiac.

So many options! They’re very willing to substitute any shell for a corn tortilla for tacos, although the Kewl Ranch hard shell is the best in my opinion! The nachos are absolutely to die for, definitely get those or chips and salsa to start. Margaritas are great too and pretty cheap!

Absolutely everything is delicious and really safe for my celiac daughter who eats here several times a week. Most of the menu is GF and they are very knowledgeable and safe. The queso is absolutely the best and they have vegan options as well.

July 3, 2021- My wife and I ate lunch here after a referral from a friend. Our server was knowledgeable about GF options on the menu and assisted me with my order. GF items were clearly marked on the entire menu. I ordered a rice and bean bowl with several toppings and the smoked brisket as my protein. My wife and I also split an order of their homemade nacho chips with guacamole, questions, and a corn salsa. The food was delicious. I felt very safe from cross-contamination and importantly, I DID NOT get sick after eating here. Highly recommend.
I will post menu pics as of July 3, 2021.

A lot of stuff is made in house so they can pretty much guarantee the corn tortillas and their chips are gluten free. A lot of items are GF and marked accordingly. The server, Alex, was extremely knowledgeable on their GF options. A much added benefit was that the food was delicious!

There was no gluten-free information marked on the menu and it took a few employees to get good, clear information on gluten-free, but in the end, I was confident in the gluten-free safety of the food I did receive. However, I was disappointed in the taste and quality of the tacos. They weren't terrible, but they also weren't great. The salsas we had were super delicious though.

We wanted to love this place as they have awesome gluten free and vegetarian options. However, despite watching our waiter mark down my tacos as gluten free/corn shell only, they came out (after a long wait) with a double shell including a tortilla around it. It took a long time to flag our waiter down (as he wasn’t the one who brought out the food) and even longer for the tacos to be replaced. Our waiter was apologetic and seemed to understand why they needed to be remade and not just have the tortilla removed but it was definitely a bit of a frustrating experience. We sat at one of their few outdoor tables, which may have been what made the service so disjointed. The food was alright but not worth the 2 hours we ended up spending there unfortunately.

Food was amazing. The only thing on the menu with gluten was the flour tortilla. Dedicated fryer for fresh tortilla chips. Queso blanco is to die for! Highly recommend. I have celiac disease.

Literally the best taco I’ve ever had in my life! The waitress was knowledgeable about celiac.
Fantastic place. Great food. Great vibe. Dedicated frier. GF kid is in heaven. Be prepared for a wait but it’s worth it!

We had a great experience at Condado. With a mix of celiac, vegan as well as standard eaters, we were all able to find something that we all liked. As for gluten free and vegan, they had great options. We will absolutely go back when visiting Pittsburgh.

Delicious tacos. Eaten here many time and never have had a problem.

I went here after ordering Dinner at the Meat & Potatoes and my meal was off Gluten Free menu, gluten tester showed gluten twice, look at find me gluten free app and found this Taco place, told them about my experience and expressed that needed to be Gluten free, the lady who took my order said she would personally go make it. When she came back said no charge and sorry I had a bad experience else where. Tested the Tacos with Nima and got smiley place. This place is better than 5 stars, food was Awsome !!

Excellent gf choices. Almost the entire menu is gf with the exception of flour tortillas. Service was great and the food was incredible. Highly recommend.

Ohhh my! Everything was so delicious. They knew what to do for gluten free. I had two different tacos and the chips and salsa. No issues and I was soo happy!

Been there on 2 different visits to Pittsburgh. No problems either time. Tacos are good and many many gf items. Will definitely return

Highly recommend this spot. Visiting in town for a few days and will be back. Make sure you let your server know.

Delicious food and awesome menu! Everything clearly marked and it’s nearly all GF! Staff was super knowledgeable, marked his ticket “gluten free” and said they hand it directly to the kitchen manager. And did I mention it was delicious?! Sooooooo good!

While I am ever grateful for gf options I had to write an honest review. Server was friendly, gf options were plenty. But the food was BAD, I mean it's not even close to Mexican food. Only good things were the queso dip and the guacamole (appetizers). Chips weren't great. Tacos were meh, what passed as Mexican rice was half cooked white rice and the refried beans were overloaded with black pepper. Place was kind of dirty/grimy too :(
Yes
Many gf options, can also handle dairy allergies just wrote it on your order card and ask the waitress! They are very knowledgeable

WOW! We arrived around 7 on a Friday night, and the place was packed! There was a bit of a wait, but once seated, our server was friendly and offered several suggestions on the menu for food and drinks. Their menu is extensive and has all GF options clearly marked. We ordered an appetizer that wasn't GF (it was a special and wasn't marked on the board), but the waitress came back to inform us it wasn't safe and offered an alternative. Staff is very knowledgeable. The food was out of this world good. By far some of the best tacos I've had, and so full of flavor. And best of all, my SIL and I didn't get sick!

The restaurant is a really cool environment and the build your own taco menu had each topping listed with whether it was gluten free, containing dairy, vegetarian or vegan. Easy to find food I wanted and was excited about. Lots of options and AMAZING TACOS!!! Inexpensive too! Would try again in a heartbeat. I’m celiac and had a fine time (as far as reactions are concerned) with the food, but I forgot to ask about the specific preparation so I cannot speak to that. I also found it easiest to park in one of the nearby parking ramps rather than search for parking out front.

We were vacationing in Pittsburgh and found this gem on FMGF. Thank you to all of the previous reviewers for pointing us here! Separate fryer, tons of GF tacos and everything we had was delicious and reasonably priced. You fill out your choices on your own order form, so every taco is completely customizable. Like a previous reviewer, I made sure to note Celiac and GF all over my order form! As someone who isn't wired to be able to eat spicy food, I was thrilled that there were lots of mild choices and that they actually were mild! My husband, who loves spicy food, was thrilled that there were lots of hot choices. Everything was delicious and I didn't get sick. The cilantro aioli and the black beans were especially yummy!

Great tacos with plenty of GF offerings marked right on the menu. I also made a note on the card when I “built” my tacos, and all was well!

Amazing place!! Everything is labeled GF that is. Chips and salsa were good. Dirty queso dip was divine. Build your own tacos. I’d definitely come back.

My review is twofold. My review is 5 stars. My order, nachos, was great! The food tasted great, and my stomach felt well afterwards. My husband (a gluten eater) gives the place 1 star. They served his tacos on cold tortillas. He asked them to warm them please. They served him again the same way. The tortillas were cold. He did not eat them, but had the charge removed from the bill

Condado has a bunch of locations around Columbus and this one is inside the lower.com stadium (home of the Columbus crew soccer team). They have hard corn shells so all of their tacos can be made gf. Also, they don’t have anything fried at this location so the chips are safe for celiacs. Great option if you are getting dinner at a game!
