Quite a bit of gluten free food, but staff didn't really seem to care. Lunch was good, albeit huge portions. The nicoise salad was good, but not really nicoise. A couple of tables outside.

Lots of gf/df options, I usually try and get something I feel the most safe with like a bowl so I did not fact get the Jerk Chicken Bowl. Staff was not the most helpful, I told them I had a gluten allergy and they didn’t really react or give me any affirmation. I really banks on the reviews here… so I ate very slowly but I ended up being fine! Booch flight was great & the booch float was delightful!

I’m not a big burger person (though my husband is) but based on other reviews I decided to try it. I added goat cheese to mine and my husband added Swiss to his. They were both delicious. I don’t know what GF bun they use but it was very tasty (definitely not the typical Udi’s bun). No fryer here so no fries but all their sides are GF. Allergens (gluten, peanut, dairy & vegan) are all marked on the menu. We are moving to the BI next year and this place will be one of our favorite go-to’s for sure. They’re house-made ketchup was so good. Have alcohol drinks that are GF as well.

I ordered the casablanca and it was delicious! It was marked GF on the menu and they provided gluten free bread instead of regular sourdough as the menu listed. When the food was delivered to my table the server said "gluten free casablanca" which made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommend!

All sandwiches and burgers can be made gluten free. Staff asked my daughter if she was celiac when she mentioned gluten allergy, which shows good awareness. We ordered a turkey sandwich, Niçoise salad and brownie and everything was delicious. Very cute place too and conveniently located.

I had the Brekky Tacos with rice which are listed as GF. But, I got really sick after. Like as if I just ate a whole piece of gluten bread kinda sick. Not a place I'll be returning again. They knew I had celiacs as well because I initially wanted the French Toast but turns out it's not GF even with GF bread substitution because they dip breads into the same batter. So regardless if you are sensitive I would not eat this item either.

I asked lots of questions because I wanted the burger. They confirmed that it would be made in a celiac safe way with gluten free bread. They also told me which sides were GF (most are). I had a really good experience and really enjoyed the food and kombucha! Highly recommend!

I have been to the booch bar 2 times and have had great experiences both times. They are very careful and confirm food is gluten free when they bring it to the table. It is also very good food (one of my favorite places on the island!)

Decent selection of GF dishes but varied so it took a while to select what I wanted. Iced beverages were okay but food was fabulous. Hostess said for GF their kitchen staff always changes gloves to prevent CC. Vibe of place was laid back & they have a constant flow of business.

Came here for dinner based on recommendations in the app. My son who has Celiac loved his grilled fish tacos. The side of rice & beans were delicious, too. I felt very safe eating here. They sanitize everything and change their gloves before making gf meals. There’s a separate toaster for gf bread. I got the turkey sandwich, brown rice, and a banana smoothie. It was all so good and I’d come back here. Almost everything can be made gluten free. I didn’t feel or get sick.

They are awesome! The guy at the counter talked to chef several times to verify I was all good (even though he was super knowledgeable). He told the chef after the order went back that I have “super gnarly gnarly gnarly celiac” which made me giggle. I’m extremely sensitive and react to small amounts of cross contact. Zero reaction at all. Definitely would go back not only because of they are knowledgeable, but also because the food is delicious and the kombucha is amazing.

The kombucha is so delicious! Everything on the menu is GF, except you can swap out GF bread for sourdough. It was almost perfect, but one of my fish tacos was under cooked, and I had to throw part of it away. Delicious flavors!

If you are even considering going here... You should DO IT! Everything we had was delicious, and even my burger-only eating kids loved it! The kombucha is good, and I don't particularly care for kombucha most of the time. The kimchi & sweet potato salad were amazing! They also asked how careful they needed to be, and once I said Celiac, the server flagged each of our items in the computer as such, and then read it ALL back to me. Super careful!

Had their tempeh street tacos and banana split ice cream. The tacos were decent but the banana split dessert was just amazing!! Both tested gluten free with Nima as well. The staff was also very knowledgeable and helped with the order.

We stopped here twice while in Hilo. It’s a cute, hippie-vibe cafe. Everything was good - the food, coffee, kombucha, and juices. Lots of vegetarian and seafood options.

Very clear information about what options are gluten free. My daughter (celiac) got the kid’s burger on a gluten free bun and her reaction was “how is this burger so good?!” So nice to have good kids options. I had a turkey Ruben on GF bread, and it was delicious.

I had an amazing turkey ruben sandwich. With delicious GF bread. I have celiac and felt very safe here! Not a great place if you have a tree nut allergy. My son ate a couple of bites of my tomato soup without realizing it was made with cashews cream..had a mild allergic reaction.
