I went to the restaurant with a reservation and was seated once they had a shift change. Waited at the bar while that happened. Felt VERY odd.
Once we got our table the waitress was amazing and so nice. The food was good. The bread at the beginning was so amazing and delicious.
There was an entire menu dedicated to being gluten free. And I got a chicken, avocado ranch sandwich! It was very tasty and I didn’t get sick. It came with a side of fruit.
Despite the weird greeting the rest worked out ok!
I have eaten at a Cooper Hawk in Florida, was excited to see one so close to home. And close to the mall in Toledo. I had one of the most delicious meals of my life. Starting first with the gluten free bread and butter that is to die for, following the parmasean crusted chicken. It was so moist and flavorful. Meal topped off with the salted Carmel creme Brule. So delicious!! Can't wait to go back.
Entire gluten free menu with apps, mains, and dessert. They even have free bread that is gf! Very cautious about all allergies. As someone with high anxiety around eating out, I feel very safe here! They write a special ticket for each item you order and write your allergy. The waiter, front of house manager, and back of house manager sign the ticket and only your waitress can run your food. Taste and quality is amazing almost everything is made in house.
Large gluten free menu and even have gluten free bread! The bread tasted like Udi’s- not fantastic but nice to enjoy with others eating their pretzel bread. I’ve had shrimp risotto and Parmesan crusted Chicken Giardinara and both were delicious! The server and chef were fantastic about precautions, and even brought my food out before the rest of the table to reduce risk of cross contamination. Haven’t gotten sick and delicious wine too!
I have eaten at Cooper’s Hawk Annapolis many times over the years. I just ate there for the second time since my celiac diagnosis. The menu is extensive, and their recommended wine pairings are helpful. There is an actual physical gf menu. It has a number of good offerings. Last time the salad I ordered came out with croutons by mistake. The server was very embarrassed and said she threw it out herself and spoke with the chef. I appreciated the server’s concern. It was a good meal and evening.
Fortunately this time there weren’t any hiccups. The server said she marked my order “gluten allergy”, which would mean it would be cooked separately. The server brought me warm gf bread, a good Cabernet S., a kale caesar side salad and, for the main course, a Black and Bleu cheeseburger, grilled squash and fresh fruit. It was all delicious. I may join their wine club.
