Warning! This restaurant is NOT safe for celiacs! We visited today after reading the reviews on this site. We immediately wondered why there was no mention anywhere on the menu of GF items. Asked the waitress and she did say they have GF buns, and will try not to cross contaminate, however within an hour or two of a steak, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables, I was having a significant reaction to gluten exposure. There is ZERO chance of us ever eating here again and if you are celiac, you’d be taking a great risk by eating here.
I’ve eaten here several times and had great experiences. Yesterday, Margo, one of the co-owners, came out to speak with me directly. She double checked a recipe to make sure there was no gluten or dairy in the glaze. They make almost everything in house, from the salad dressing to the main course sauce. I had the Santa Fe Chicken and it was excellent.
Great options and food! I had the patty melt with a GF bun and no onions and almost cried at how delicious it was. The staff is super knowledgeable and they check with multiple people in the kitchen to make sure your order and its ingredients are safe. Will definitely be going back.
Got sick here. Not a fan. I had a burger.
I have celiac and have eaten here many times. Excellent food and knowledgeable staff. Owner comes to the table to go over the menu every time we visit.
Excellent. Very attentive and individualized to gluten free needs
Amazing food! We called ahead and were informed one of the waitresses has celiac, and they were knowledgeable on what I could eat. Once we were seated, our waitress got the owner/manager, and she went through everything on the menu. We ordered an appetizer(spicy shrimp with slaw) and I got the salmon entree. Both were amazing, and we can't wait to go back!
There is not a designated gluten free menu, however the waiters are all very knowledgeable. One of them has Celiac disease herself and is comfortable eating from their kitchen. The manager spoke to me in detail over the phone before our visit letting me know the options, and she stopped by our table as well. They are able to tweak almost any menu item to be GF. Their sauces and salad dressings are all made in house. All salad dressings are gluten free. When the food runner brought my plate she didn't just say "Santa Fe chicken" She said "Gluten free Santa Fe chicken" which confirms for me that the dish was labeled gluten free in the kitchen so the proper precautions were taken. We are definitely going back... the food was delicious and everyone was friendly. It was one of the first times I have been to a restaurant where I didn't feel like my questions were an annoyance.
Although they did not have a specific gluten-free menu the manager personally came over to my table to explain to me everything on the menu that someone with a gluten allergy could eat . There were many options and she was very knowledgeable and friendly and the food was very good.
