Not really the best experience but at least we got something and we were ok
Incredible food! Staff it's very knowledgeable about food allergies, they always change their gloves for us, and cook the corn tortillas on tinfoil so it doesn't cross contaminate. Everything on the menu (beside a couple desserts) can be made gluten free with corn tortillas, including salads and burritos!
Everything is gluten free except wheat and white tortilla supposedly. You can even ask for gluten free corn tortillas. I think it depends on who is behind the counter though because I have eaten there several times and been fine and once I got sick.

From their allergen list: We have worked diligently to remove wheat gluten from all our sauces, dressings, and proteins. Natural glutens remain only in our flour and wheat tortillas and in two desserts--tres leches and key lime pie. This means that we offer "oceans of gluten-free options" in our menu. All of these items are gluten-free: all enchiladas, all tacos, all salads (without the flour or wheat tortilla), all nachos, and our chicken tortilla so up...which uses corn strips.

We unfortunately did not receive the glove changing and my daughter's "GF" soup came with a flour tortilla which I only intercepted after she had taken a few bites. Terrible service, to say the very least. So, if you like hipsters that ignore you when you remind them three times that it needs to be GF, this is the place for you. Really too bad because food is pretty good.
Excellent food and staff very knowledgeable about gluten They changed their gloves before they started and told me what I could and couldn't have. Almost everything is gluten free even the tortilla strips

Really liked this restaurant. The ladies working were very knowledgeable on gluten free options and they changed their gloves without me having to ask! I didn’t have any issues after eating there. I will definitely visit again when I’m in Lubbock!
They change their gloves and prepare the food from a separate area. Very knowledgeable and my son has never felt sick after eating here.
Great service. They changed gloves and stayed with my food the whole time. Also covered food at the end. Really wanted to keep my food safe.
Has the nachos with chicken, black beans and cheddar cheese with queso on the side. I have had costa vida in SLC many times but this location was great too. Changed thier gloves when I said I was gluten free and did not have a reaction.
It was wonderful! The older Hispanic gentleman took the time and initiative to wash his hands and change his gloves as soon as I mentioned that I would be ordering a gluten free meal! I didn’t even have to ask!
