You have to make this restaurant a priority for anyone who is celiac. They are so accommodating and the food is delicious. First time I have ever had pasta that tasted like real pasta in the bread is homemade pasta and was so good.

Amazing! A tiny little Italian spot owned by a lovely Italian couple, the husband has celiac and gets it. I have freshly made GF pasta with a homemade GF bun and it was so delicious! Definitely make this a stop in London!

Extensive GF menu, owner is a coeliac. Very tasty simple Italian food and friendly service. I went with my toddler and they were very accomodating. They asked about food allergies immediately on entering. It was a lovely experience.

Such a great experience. Not only is the food amazing, the staff make you feel comfortable and taken care of. They confirmed immediately when we entered what our dietary restrictions were and mentioned that every item was gluten free when it was delivered to our table. A must visit for Celiacs in London!

This place deserves 10 stars!!! The owner is the sweetest person and has been celiac for 32 years so he understands the need for safe, cross contamination free meals! The menu is 99% gluten free as well!! HIGHLY recommend going!! I got gluten free bread to start, gluten free gnocchi (that was homemade and out of this world amazing) and passionfruit carrot cake!!

Owner has Celiac and 99% of menu has GF options (except no GF calzone☹). Two separate kitchens. GF bread is amazing. Highly recommend.

The owner is the sweetest man & he has celiac. His wife is the chef so she has a personal dedication to safe/gluten free food. The owner assured me that nothing is cross contaminated and everything is cooked separately. I had a fabulous bowl of risotto!

The owner is a Coeliac and the menu is amazing. My daughter had gf gnocchi and gf passion fruit. The service was excellent. A must for any Coeliacs in London.

Eating here was like being in Italy for a short bit. We were greeted in Italian and warmly welcomed and immediately asked about allergies and intolerances. The owner then came to greet us, as celiac himself. They have 2 separate kitchens to avoid cross contamination. Most the menu can be ordered gf and there is much choice for vegetarians too. My kids came for pizza... but ended up with pasta once seeing the dishes come out. All the pasta is hand made. Some dishes were average... the dishes with aubergine were incredible! Along with great food, what this place has above others is the service. This is a true family business. The owner harks back to a day long past in family restaurants when the owner makes you family for the night. Our family will gladly return... and enjoy... you should, without hesitation, go too!

I came here based on recommendations from other Coeliacs and wow, every gf person in London needs to go here! The owner himself is Coeliac and was very welcoming. We had a chat and he pointed out at least half a dozen other Coeliacs sat eating at their own tables. It's clearly very popular with us!
99% of what was on the menu could be made gluten free - including home made gluten free pasta which was to die for! They take other allergies and intolerances very seriously too, and it's very clear they do it because it's the right thing to do, not just for profit or because they have to.
Amazing food. Just visit - you'll see what I mean!

Absolutely worth the hype! Delicious food from a family owned restaurant- they asked about allergies and labeled dishes with GF stickers. Bread and desserts available as well. Owner has celiac and makes sure everyone “special like him” is taken care of. 10/10!!

We were asked several times if anyone had an allergy. The owner came over to the table to discuss the menu. My daughter has gone from vegetarian to vegan. Their pesto sauce is vegan and is wonderful. The spaghetti in bolognese sauce excellent too. I had the tortelloni stuffed with ricotta in the cream sauce. So so good. The restaurant has struggled to make it through COVID like so many others. If you are vacationing in London like us or live in London area, do yourselves a favor and stop in for authentic Italian food and great conversation.

Great raviolis! It was comforting to have the manager (owner?) greet us by saying he has celiac too!

So excited to find this place during our trip to London! Owner is Celiac and takes great care with preparing gluten free dishes. Almost every single item on the menu is available gluten-free so there are tons of choices. Food is fantastic!

Great place. Very generous portions. The owner and his son have celiac and so all dishes can be made gf and they fully understand the importance of cross contamination.
By far one of the best gluten free pizzas I’ve tried in London. The service is great, it’s not too pricey and the pizza is homemade and coeliac- friendly. I went for the fungi and can’t wait to go back and try more options. It’s a cute traditional Italian which really resembles actual Italy. 5 stars.

June 2019 update: still our favorite! Delicious vegetable soup, pizza and pasta! Lemon sorbet is wonderful! Owner is so fun to talk to. You can tell he really enjoys making food that people with allergies can eat. This is a family owned and operated business.
This was probably one of our favorite restaurants in London! The owner and his son are celiac. The owner himself helped us. We had delicious GF bread, pizza and pasta that they also made DF. Gluten free Italian food from a true Italian ... life can't get any better than this. We talked about this restaurant throughout our trip as we loved it so much. Definitely don't miss this restaurant when you're in London! We are super-sensitive and did not get sick. Highly recommend!

The owner is celiac and seems like all of the staff is Italian. The food is authentic and AMAZING, and I believe it’s all made from scratch there. Literally EVERYTHING on the menu can be made gluten free. I haven’t had a real lasagna in ages! But you can also get pizza, a ton of other kinds of pasta, risotto, etc. And I almost forgot to mention the BEST gluten free bread I’ve ever had. My sister isn’t celiac but she said that her gnocchi was the best she’s had since she was in Florence. Definitely go here!!

We were in London for vacation and stopped by Cotto’s a few minutes before 18:00. Although we didn’t have reservations, they seated our party of five quickly and gave us individualized GF recommendations. My son has Celiac and he loved the Porcini Ravioli. They brought him GF bread before the main course and he finished with GF Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and the owner came to our table several times to talk GF (he’s been diagnosed with Celiac for 30 years). I highly recommend Cotto for anyone looking for a safe GF option in London.
Yes
In 15 years of being celiac this is HANDS DOWN the best gluten free Italian meal I’ve had in restaurant. They even have gf tiramisu for dessert! The reason everything tastes so incredibly delicious is that the owner/chef has had celiac for 30 years! So be assured of a fabulous gf meal (the lasagna is the BOMB) that is safe AND delicious!!
Yes
This place is amazing and super affordable. Owner is celiac and he came to our table. I don’t remember the last time I had ravioli!! It was so good. I might go back for the tortilini. Also had gluten free dessert! I love it here, nice neighborhood too!

The best GF Italian food I have ever eaten.

Quite expensive for lunch but definitely very great gluten free food!

Almost the entire menu is GF. Great option near London Eye area. Owner was great.
Amazing food and the menu is 99% gluten free. Owner is so friendly
Yes
The owner was so incredible friendly. Made me and my gluten free friend feel so welcome. It was such a cute family-owned restaurant and was affordable. Nearly every single thing on the menu could be made gluten free. They offer gluten free bread, pizza, pasta, beer, and desserts. By far one of the best gluten free meals I have ever had. I would recommend to everyone. They do take walk-ins, but to ensure a table you might want to make a reservation ahead of time because it can get busy.
Yes
The best part of this restaurant is the owner. He is so personable! He has had Celiac for 30 years. The number of selections on the menu is great - nearly everything is GF. We really wanted to love this restaurant, but we found it to be okay — a little bland. We did come here twice in a week though because we felt safe eating here.
Yes
The gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu and most dishes can be made gluten free. The owner has a gluten allergy and so has made it a point to be very gluten friendly. Wonderful meal. We stopped on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was busy, but they brought us in immediately and were very accommodating of not only my daughter’s celiac but my wife’s wheelchair as well. We were welcomed warmly and service was excellent.

Owner is celiac, near tourist attractions, food was amazing. Super helpful in a city where dining as a celiac was a bit hard.
Yes
Really. Really. Good. The service was perfect, friendly, and had absolutely no issue understanding allergies (Chef has been Celiac for 30 years). Get the chocolate “cake” (gf and dairy free, too). I’ve never seen my Boy eat a dessert so fast. The gnocci was awesome.
Yes
Worst experience ever. They put bread and olives in the table without ordering them - but they charged for them. The regular bread was old and very hard. The melanzane was flat. Pizzas unavailable (because pizza cook was sick ?! -they depend on only one person ?). Spaghetti gluten free not available. Linguini gluten free not available either ! Paid with cash, change came 1 pound short. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
This is my favourite authentic Italian in London they have two kitchens, one regular and a separate gf to cater for celiac. The owner is actually celiac himself, lovely man and very friendly
Yes
We had a terrific GF meal. Almost every item on menu can be made GF. Owner is VERY knowledgeable. When in London, absolutely have a meal there. A five minute walk from the London Eye.
Yes
A thoroughly wonderful experience!!! My wife, who is not celiac, but eats GF so I can share her leftovers, ordered the ravioli, and I ordered the Lasagna. Both were fabulous! The tiramisu we shared for dessert was awesome! It was so nice to be do warmly welcomed into this little gem just a few blocks south of the London Eye
Yes
As the other reviews say, delicious!!! I couldn’t decide what to get so I got homemade gf ravioli (yep — homemade!) and pizza. I’m supposed to be casein free, but tonight I splurged (my consequences are tolerable for a short time) in order to get food I’ve gone without for so long; unfortunately there weren’t a lot of cf options... that is one are they could improve upon. The food was amazing and we would definitely go back if there were more cf options.
Yes
There are only about four things on the menu that aren’t gluten free. Everything we got was delicious!
Yes
This is the first place I have found gluten free tortellini and ravioli. Amazing! The tiramisu is a must try as well. Ask the owner for recommendations. He's very friendly, knowledgeable, and has Celiac himself. An Italian chef with Celiac! What more could you hope for?
Yes
This place kicks ass. Ask yourself, when was the last time you could order off a full menu? Owner is celiac and watches over the restaurant carefully. Great experience.
Yes
What a great experience. Almost every item on the menu is available gluten free. Delicious and inclusive for all.
Dedicated kitchen. Owner runs. Really friendly. Great place worth supporting

I have coeliac & I ate here no problem! The owner was super friendly, & even asked my friend & I what our dietary restrictions were as we sat down. Enjoyed our first experience so much that we went back a second time over a 3 day period!
