Review of Counting House

Not Celiac friendly. I asked the waitress if she had a GF menu. She rolled her eyes and said no, that made me nervous. But when she returned for our order, she was helpful about what had G and what did not. We ordered small plates to share. She told me I could eat the shrimp and grits, which made me very nervous since most grits have CC. I should have known then that she really had no idea, or was bold faced lying to me. So, I didn't eat the S&G but enjoyed the other supposedly GF items we ordered. While it was delicious, I was quite sick the next day. So, I will never eat there again. I just can't trust cavalier wait and kitchen staff. I lost another day feeling sick in bed b/c she thought I was being difficult.
