They had a separate gluten allergy menu, but there were question marks written by some of the items which concerned me. I ordered a burger and it was delicious. My waitress wouldn’t give me a straight answer on whether or not the bun was toasted in a separate area than regular buns, so this made me nervous. However, I didn’t end up getting sick so it must have been fine!
Unfortunately no special GF menu or a separate fryer. However, the staff was so helpful and so knowledgable. They even can back to go over the spices in the seasoning. Of course Sweet Ali's buns just made it that much better. I am a sensitive Celiac and my son is Celiac as well. Both our meals were wonderful and we were happy. Gave them 4 stars for the obvious reasons. I will be back
Uses sweet Ali's buns for their burgers. I go here regularly and never have an issue.
Awesome veggie burger (gf!) on a tasty gf bun. Add pepper jack cheese and it is one of the best veggie burgers I've had! Server very knowledgable. A cider and New Grist gf beer in the menu. Fantastic meal!
Their excellent hamburger/sandwich buns are from Sweet Ali's in Hinsdale, and their burgers are the best.
Delicious buns for great burgers!
Very limited gf options BUT....Has a great burgers on gf buns. No gf french fries though, FYI. Also, long waits on wknds (Friday-Sunday and there are peanuts/peanut shells everywhere for those with peanut allergies.
Great ostrich burger. Receives gluten free buns from Sweet Ali's bakery in Hinsdale. Staff is patient and knowledgable.
Great burgers but this location just closed last week. The other 2 locations are open
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much
I was excited because they have like a 3 page gluten free menu. However, their knowledge of gluten free is POOR. I ordered gluten free pasta and asked for it to be boiled in fresh water, and using clean utensils. It was served with REGULAR bread on top of it. We ate here late and there was only one other table here, so it’s not like they were busy and got orders mixed up. Simon was our waiter.
The manager running the gf program here has a child who is gf. The staff has a good understanding of gf needs and a good program in place to prevent cross contamination in the kitchen. The menu has a bunch of options and the food is good. There is a gf brownie for dessert that is wonderful.
We have eaten here too many times to count and my super sensitive celiac daughter has never gotten sick. They have delicious gluten-free buns for all the sandwiches & burgers, baked potatoes, ribs, etc. Daughter gets a hot dog and we always remind them to make it in the microwave -not boil in the pasta water. - they are kind enough to chop apples for her side even though it’s not on the menu. They do not have dedicated g free menu and not all of the staff are particularly knowledgeable, however the kitchen staff knows how to prevent cross contamination & they take allergies seriously. Just let them know you have celiac or a “serious allergy”
