Always extremely accommodating whether you eat in or take out. I’ve eaten here so many times over my last 4 years at Penn State.

I’ve eaten in and ordered takeout and each time been safe. I am sensitive to cross contamination. Staff is knowledgeable and takes extra care. My daughter is also a sensitive celiac and she has eaten there multiple times with no trouble. Excellent food!

Nima found gluten twice in two different curries, after informing wait staff of celiac and severe allergy. Chef came out and said this has only happened once before, and most likely was due to the utensils, not the food/ingredients. Thankful I tested before eating!

Always feel safe eating here! Much of menu can be made GF and some items are naturally. Staff is knowledgeable and marks as “allergy” for celiacs.

Hadn’t been in a long time, and not since the Celiac diagnosis. Staff assured us that much of the menu could be prepared gluten-free. Very tasty, quick friendly service, BYOB. Will definitely be going back more often now that we know it’s safe! Yay!

Great spot for gluten free! Almost all of the menu can be made gluten free excluding a few pre marinated dishes and the obvious fried dishes. We’ve had the pad thai, curries, and thai basil chicken. Also the sweet sticky rice for dessert is awesome. The staff is knowledgeable with gluten free and very careful. We come back here often and will continue to. Highly recommended!

Vegan GF Pad Thai was fine. A little too oily and could use some more flavor but most importantly it was safe. Nima tested.

Cozy Thai is fantastic with taking special care with GF menu requests. Ask the waiter if your desired selection can be made GF. I have had luck with pad Thai, mee ka ti, and drunken noodles so far and I am guessing there are many other options that can be made GF. All you need to do is ask.
They’re also great with honoring vegetarian and vegan requests. While I am neither, our family chooses Cozy Thai during Lent and they’re so respectful of vegetarian requests and even ask if we can have fish sauce or egg.
Highly recommend.

March 13, 2020. Had the sriracha noodles with shrimp for lunch. Very good and I did not get sick. No separate GF menu.

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff is very knowledgeable about gluten. Their branch Galanga on E College is also fantastic!

No GF menu but they are very aware of cooking GF. I've eaten there twice, gotten pad thai both times and did not get sick (and I'm very sensitive) so I trust them. I just wish they had a marked or separate menu.
food tastes amazing and is always brought to you hot. not sure why I always have stomach issues for several days afterwards though:/
As mentioned earlier, wonderful Pad Thai! The menu is not marked, nor do they have a gluten free menu, but the supervisor came to our table to explain all the dishes that can be made gluten free, which was a lot. The servers both times made sure the kitchen understood my needs and both times I did NOT get sick. And in fact the table next to ours was also ordering gluten free, so that also told me this restaurant is trusted by those that need to eat safe gluten free food. When we visit State College again we will return for some awesome Pad Thai.
Best pad thai ever! There are a few good gluten free options, and a very knowledgeable staff. But frankly once you try the pad thai you will never need to eat anything else! I recommend going there for lunch, you get a soup salad and full sized entree for a few dollars less than what just the entree costs at dinner. Highly recommend you check this place out!
If you like Thai, THIS is the place to go. Knowledgable staff, and few dishes to worry about compared to other cuisines. As a gluten intolerant guy, I highly recommend. Could be viewed as "pricey" but to me it's worth every cent! Annddddd... It's byob!
Features GF Pad Thai, and other GF items, very friendly and allergy aware
