Michael was our waiter. He’s a kind, understanding, empathetic man & took such great care of me! I ordered the GF chicken tenders & had no problems at all. A real blessing!!
Gluten free bar food is so hard to come by, but they have quite a few options that can be modified to be gluten free. And they have a dedicated fryer! I got the chicken tenders and fries and it was delicious. I’ve also had their gluten free buns, and they seem to be Udi’s buns.

We had such a great experience here at CR heroes! The food was great and so was the service. So good that I forgot to take pictures. We had the GF cheese fries as an appetizer. I had the chicken tenders and my husband had the Fajita rice bowl. So good. We will be back 😃
My family has been regular customers at CR Hero's since it opened in the early 2000s. This is one of my must-eat-at places when I visit family!
When I found out about my food allergies, we discovered that CR Hero's had also undergone some menu changes to accommodate gluten-free diets. I always leave feeling satisfied and full! My favorites are the cheese fries (gluten-free, dedicated fryer) and the Hoosier Mama, but the burgers are always a solid choice. The food is always fresh, the waitstaff is friendly, and the decor is top-notch! When I describe CR Hero's decor to friends, they are confused until they walk inside and see the superheroes (comic book and real life) coating every wall.
The vibes are not to be missed, nor is the food!
LOVE this place! They have gluten free fries and chicken tenders! Lots of other options as well. I can never eat bar food or anything fried so this place is amazing. AND gluten free fried items have a dedicated fryer. Please do yourself a favor and come here. Our server was Brock and he took care of us!
A dedicated fryer for the fries- YES! My daughter and I get the Gooey Onion Burger on GF buns every time and we’ve never been ill. Great local spot, great staff, awesome owner.
This place is a favorite for my daughter and me! I love how they have a separate fryer for fries and chips. They also have GLUTEN FREE CHICKEN TENDERS! if you haven’t gone you should. Let staff know when you go you have celiac and you’re good.

I NIMA tested the bone-in wings with firecracker sauce. They came back safe. :)The sauce was amazing and the staff was wonderful!

Love this place! Very safe! Burgers are so good here and it’s amazing to get chicken fingers out for once! Not the healthiest thing but you miss the littlest things you can’t get anymore with this disease. Also a great place for kids. My kids love getting the fun drinks that come with little toys.

By far one of my favorite restaurants with gluten free options. It feels so good to be able to eat chicken tenders and fries from somewhere other than my house! I would rate this place 6 stars if I could!
What a hidden gem! They have a huge menu and all the GF options are labeled on it. They have a dedicated GF fryer so you can have fries, tator tots, and chicken tenders all safe and GF! I was impressed by the options and the chicken tenders were phenomenal. The wait staff knows what's GF and what isn't and marks it with a gluten allergy.
The staff is very knowledgeable. The service is awesome. The food is delicious.

Really impressed how many gluten free offerings they had on the menu! The food and service were great!! They have gluten free wings, fries, chicken tenders, burgers, so many things. Server announced gluten free items when he brought them to the table too.
We have been here twice and they have always been very patient with our questions and they clearly take cross-contamination very seriously. Their potato skins are amazing, chicken tenders are great and our kids love that they can have gluten free smiley fries!

Gluten free? They GET it. Eat here if you are celiac. They will take care of you. I'm very loyal to restaurants that immerse themselves in really serving a gf meal!
Came because of all the 5* reviews, and they just earned another! Love Me Tenders, who makes GF chicken tenders? These guys do, and they did it very well. Dedicated fryer used for the tenders and the fries, all very tasty, THANK YOU!
Staff has been trained well. I have ordered takeout several times and ordered in the restaurant. My family gets a mix of gluten free and gluten food, we have had no problems with anything and are becoming regulars. My daughter orders the gluten free burger with tater tots. I get the gluten free salmon salad with balsamic reduction. Great food and service!

The owner and her staff understand celiacs and have tons of GF options! We like their chicken fingers and fries but they have tons of menu options and dedicated kitchen space. Can’t say enough great things about CR Heroes!!

Staff knew about their gluten-free practices - if she didn’t know she asked which was reassuring! Separate fryer for gf food! They also put foil down on the grill for meats etc! The food was delicious! Great atmosphere! Even had a gf beer option 😜
I love the opportunity to eat gluten free fried foods at restaurants, since frying at home is a messy and stinky affair. Everything I ate at C.R. Heroe's came out of a gluten free dedicated fryer. We started with cheese fries; the half order was massive. Then I had chicken fingers with tater tots for my meal. I highly recommend C.R. Heroe's!
Great staff, very knowledgeable! Didn’t get sick! Did the build your own burger with fries so good! Fries are awesome they also have the BEST sweet potato fries. The Carmel marshmallow sauce that comes with it is to die for! I would come back anytime!
I really enjoy the food here and it is clearly marked GF on their menus. The staff is excellent with your specific needs and is very educated on how things are cooked. Highly recommend for celiacs!
We had a great meal here tonight. The menu is clearly noted, the wait staff was knowledgeable about how things are prepared and made us feel comfortable. They have LOTS of GF choices. Everything we had was delicious, we can’t wait to go back.
Their gf chicken tenders have the best flavor and are fried in a dedicated fryer. Always my top choice when we go out to eat.
After getting a Celiac Disease diagnosis, C.R. Heroes became my favorite restaurant. They have so many GF options including a dedicated fryer to get your fried food fix. I thought I’d never be able to order chicken strips and French fries again! I have also had their burger, and it was superb. They offer a gluten free bun, but I have not tried it. Highly recommend this restaurant for anybody who eats gluten free.
Both my wife and I are celiac. Driving through town we read the great reviews on this restaurant.it was trivia night, crowded, so we got a great little table in the bar. Dedicated prep and fryers. First place I could ever order BBQ ribs and they were great. I highly recommend this great restaurant!
