Staff was friendly & tried to be helpful. At one point three employees were searching for the ONE gf menu in the Tallahassee restaurant. They never found it. I felt safe eating bacon & eggs but was disappointed they do not have gf waffles, pancakes, biscuits, etc.

If you have celiac you basically have a few sides to choose from. I guess it's a good for a snack. They do have a gluten sensitive menu.

No gluten free menu. I was able to order eggs and hash browns for an up charge because I modified. Very slow service. Won’t go again.

I am gluten intolerant and won't eat here. There is very little made without gluten and I would not trust cross contamination. I asked if I could have grits in place of the biscuits & gravy. They said no, but I can order them as a side for $3.50 and proceeded to bring the biscuits & gravy after I told them not to. They have no idea what is gluten-free. Note: The hashbrown casserole has cream of chicken soup so that is not safe either. (I had to look that up.) I have also been told recently that the grits are not gluten-free.

I found they have a nutritional QR code on back of menu that brings you to a chart with different allergens

When asked if GF Menu available I was given a 15 page spieal bound book listing every food item Doan the left side and 12 or more "allergens" as a header row across (spreadsheet style chart) I t would an hour with a magnifying glass to read that entire thing, very awkward and k.poisibke to be of any use to me. I asked about individual items.

This is a last resort restaurant IMO. I should have kept the"book" at the table as I am pretty sure the fried apples were in a flour based sauce.

I can't say I would recommend eating at a cracker barrel if you have celiac or a gluten sensitivity, but they do have options should you need them. They have an allergen menu on their website with some gluten free items, but there is still a high risk of cross-contact.

I only ordered a side of mashed potatoes to be safe. Explained to the staff that I have celiac disease and the importance of no cross-contact. I didn't have a reaction.
