Gluten free options in a special menu- but with disclaimers that can't guarantee GF. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly - manager gladly went to check labels for ingredients of anything I requested. Made sure to tell kitchen to cook separately and even went back to make sure it was being cooked with caution. A wonderful experience!
I went a couple months ago. I was informed that they do not have gluten free options for breakfast except for Fruity Pebbles. Very sad.

This is not the best place to go for celiac Or gluten in- tolerant people.
Way too much cross contamination.
The wait staff isn't real educated on special medical diets.
I ordered a salad, no croutons. She brought it out, yep, with croutons!
I handed it back & repeated no croutons.
"Just push them aside"
She says 🙄.
I said if you can't bring a fresh salad, no croutons,
I'll go elsewhere.
She brought a salad back, I was eating it & low & behold CROUTONS on the bottom.
I was sick within 15 min.
No I didn't stir my salad up as it wasn't but a little bit of carrot, red cabbage, iceberg lettuce & they smothered it with dressing.

I had lunch there and explained to waitress my allergies and things she needed the staff to know. I ordered green beans, hamburger patty no seasoning and mash potatoes no gravy. Bad idea to go there!! Before I left restaurant I got a bad gluten reaction!🤢 They are not gluten friendly, especially if you have Celiac. Not going there any more, too much chance for cross contamination!! Gluten suffers , beware! I have warned you!

I love Cracker Barrel. The staff is always nice and have the list of allergens ready for you to look through (highly recommend). I went for Mother's Day weekend (during breakfast) because i know my GF options. That being said, they do change the source of their product occasionally. I was disappointed to find out that their grits are no longer GF, so my breakfast options are more limited. I may just avoid the chain. Disappointed.

They have a very nice allergy menu that they provide upon request. It lists various allergens including gluten on a tabular schedule. There are additional columns to warn of potential cross contamination due to frying and grilling. Sadly, when you factor all of that, you are left with almost nothing. I ended up with a 4 sidedish meal. The waiter was nice and wished to help but was not very knowledgeable. After my order, he asked if I wanted biscuits or cornbread. He corrected himself after i pointed it out. It probably was just a habitual question but i was not left very confident. I asked that the preparers be notified. I don’t know if that happened.
