Although their online menu is marked, the menu at the restaurant is not. The server was fairly knowledgeable and I got the red beans and rice, which I knew had been marked GF online. I'm very sensitive and didn't have any issues though.

Other reviews say GF menu items are marked. They are not. Luckily our server was able to point them out. I got a wedge salad and split the chilled seafood tower with my boyfriend. Everything was delicious and I haven’t had any reaction yet. Service was incredibly slow though and I would not have stayed if we had not had a Groupon. For the record the GF items are: Some salads Shrimp & Grits Chilled Seafood towers Boiled Seafood platters

I had a Southern Cooler - lemonade and vodka! I ate the grits and shrimp with sausage--delicious!

Very limited options on the menu, but they are marked with a key. I ordered the rice and beans and it was okay, not anything I would order again. The portion was huge though. The views of the river are nice and there was live music when I was there.

Asked hostess if they had gluten free menu and she said no. Called the restaurant and they said yes, items are indicated by a symbol on the menu. I tried the shrimp and grits. I thought they were gross and didn't eat them. They also had beans and rice and lobster salad as well as lobster and oysters that are gluten free.

I had the "Bourbon Street Combo" steamed crab legs, shrimp, boiled potatoes, corn and sausage. It was delicious!

They said they had GF, but then brought sausage out on the same platter as the rest of the food and they weren't sure if the sausage was GF. The crab was good, but the potatoes and corn were quite spicy.

Not gluten free at all, lots of bread crumbs everywhere and wife got super sick. They have a gluten free menu but if you are celiac go somewhere else.

Very good service. I am GF/dairy-free and the waitress even came to let me know the GF salad dressing I chose was a cream base. I had a delicious shrimp cocktail, but the shrimp had "accidentally" been lightly dusted with Cajun seasoning and breading. My garden salad was okay, but again I found a clump of breading and a hair in it. This place has a great view right on the water and the waitress really tried to be accommodating, but allergies were not communicated to the kitchen and food preparation staff. Be careful eating hear if Celiac.

Several gluten free options. My kids enjoyed the boiled crab although there is not a dedicated fryer for the fries. The shrimp and grits was excellent! Overall, a great way to experience gf New Orleans style food.

Lots of gluten free options clearly marked. It can feel a little touristy, but it's the perfect place to get some classic New Orleans food that you can count on being gluten free. Gluten free options include shrimp and grits, red beans and rice, chargrilled oysters, and Cajun steamed seafood buckets. I've never had a bad meal here.

Menu had GF options clearly labeled. The Shrimp and grits were out of this world, and the creole boils were tasty as well. Definitely recommended!

The menu here is a little limited, but its not too bad if you like seafood. The only appetizer is a shrimp cocktail, and there are no gf deserts. The entrees include red beans and rice, oysters (grilled or raw), and some cajun steamed seafood platters. I ate here twice, and had a cajun steamed seafood platter both times. The staff isn't very knowledgable about gluten free, so just stick the the designated gf options on the menu. The platters come with TONS of food. I had the snow crab the first night, which came with 4 crab halves, boiled potatoes, a mini corn cob, and a piece of spicy andouille sausage. The second night I had the crab/gulf shrimp combo, which still had 3 crab halves plus 12 jumbo gulf shrimp and all the same sides. The restaurant is out on the riverfront, and both times I visited there was a live band outdoors. Good seafood for reasonable prices and a fun atmosphere!

While there are only a limited number of GF items on the menu, the ones that are there are good. Red beans and rice, shrimp and grits, shrimp cocktail, to name a few. Prices are reasonable also. I had the shrimp and grits which is something I frequently get at restaurants back home, but not with this much flavor!!! My waiter was very familiar with the menu and what was GF.

Although the wait staff was nice and willing to learn, she was clueless about gluten. They have gluten free options on main menu, but nothing listed for children. We had to piece together a meal from adult choices. The options were limited- crab, shrimp, lobster, beans and rice, grits. Great options for me and some kids I suppose.. My 6 year old left hungry.

I was in NOLA for a conference and staying at the Hilton which was a very short walk away. Ate here twice and it was fantastic. Did take out one night and dined in the next. Wait staff was very friendly and remembered us when we returned for our dine in meal. G-free items are clearly labeled on the menu and very yummy. Very nice portions as well. I had the steamed snow crab: about 8 legs(average size), sausage link, corn and some potatoes. Nicely seasoned and no gluten reactions what-so-ever when I was done. It looked like they may have had multiple cooking areas, so it's possible anything fried or gluteny may have been cooked away from the stuff I bought. Great place for a safe meal!
