one of my favorite restaurants. Everybody’s really nice and they’re very understanding of food sensitivities.
The food is not good. The service is ok. But they don't know about gluten free items and when I said I had celiac they said it was ok, but they don't have a dedicated fryer. If you're going to serve gf items you should train your staff. They need to try harder.
Newly gluten free and with SEVERAL fails at restaurants, I purused the Restaurant Week restaurants nearby. Immediately I saw Cross and Orange's Menu with the indicators of which items were GF. I didn't see any other establishment that marked gf items, so Cross and Orange here we come. We thoroughly enjoyed the Chard Salad, Flat Iron Steak, and the Flourless Chocolate Cake. I slept like a baby, no nerve pain, no stomach issues, thank you Cross and Orange!
I'm writing as a someone who is gluten sensitive. I'm uncertain if Cross and Orange prepare GF food in a separate area.
Food was really good but there is NOT a dedicated fryer so while they do a good job with labeling, the wings, fries, etc are not truly GF
Very knowledgeable and wings are GF, really good!!!
delicious gluten-free options including many appetizers. The menu is seasonal and more than 60% of the menu is Gluten-free.
