We went here last Sunday for take out. My daughter is celiac and my husband and I will also order GF as well. We had the peanut butter Chicken, orange chicken and chicken with veggies. My daughter LOVED her PB chicken (which was battered and fried.) Neither my husband nor I could tell any of it was GF. The best part: my daughter did t get sick! We will go back!
Just in Omaha for a few days and saw this place reviewed here and a couple other sites so thought I’d give it a try. Shared the shrimp spring rolls with my husband - they were ok; but we’re used to some amazing Vietnamese spring rolls back home. So many GF choices, but I had the GF sweet & sour chicken, which was so light and crispy. Would definitely stop in again when we’re back in town.
Ordered from the gluten free menu, explained that I had CELIAC, so having no cross contamination was essential...still has a gluten reaction that lasted several days so it was more than a crumb. Also both entrees were so salty they were nearly inedible, seriously the saltiest food I've ever had from ANY restaurant in my life. Have tried this place twice, just in case the first time was a fluke... Nope, salty and glutened. Not CELIAC safe, or for anyone who doesn't love super salty food.
Ordered their General Tso’s chicken gluten free and didn’t get sick. First time I’ve been able to enjoy this dish in years.
Ordered off Uber eats from their dedicated menu and it was decidedly not gluten free. I am not the most sensitive and this destroyed me
Love that they had a variety of safe options! I had egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken, peanut butter chicken, and steamed rice. Gluten eating husband had some of that and also had dumplings and fried rice. It was delicious and I felt great. I ate my leftovers the next day for lunch.
Super easy to order and they also deliver. They have an online ordering option with a drop down gluten free menu with 38 items to choose from. The meals a huge and very filling. We had a mixed order of gluten free and not in our order and they even took care to bag up separate so not to cross contaminate. Then on top of all this amazing ease to order the food was amazingly good. Very happy with my experience here.
We ate here last night and got takeout ordered over the phone and I didn’t get sick! Someone says below that they don’t use separate oil for frying, but I asked and they do. The food itself was just okay. We got the sesame chicken and generals chicken and we won’t order those again, but we might try other things on the menu if we go again. I was happy that it’s so inexpensive! Also if it matters to anyone else, they don’t use white meat chicken. Five stars for safety, three stars for the actual food.
This is one of my favorite gluten free places in town. I love that I can get menu items here like sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken and peanut butter chicken that I can’t eat anywhere else. I have never had a reaction here and always had delicious meals. They clearly take care and offer items I can’t have anywhere else in Omaha.
This place has so many GF options and the staff is very polite. Try the 7 flavor chicken for sure.
