I've been Celiac for almost 7 years now and have eaten Culver's (Gaylord location) off and on. They're were great before Covid then a lot of CC happened, so I stopped eating there for over a year. Started going back (early 2022) and I was such a regular most we're happy to see my face again. An the moment I asked for GF bun with my meal the lady taking my order stated good news we didn't have to worry about the fries as they have a dedicated fryer. Fast forward to this past Feb(2023)fryers we're down so they needed new ones. 1 week went by and we went back to have our norm. I've eaten there 3 times since fryers we're fixed and I felt slightly glutenend but couldn't figure out why... My husband called Culver's 3/4/2023 and asked if they had a dedicated fryer for their fries. She said NO the only dedicated fryer they have is for the fish. So fries at Culver's are NOT Celiac Safe as they are fried with onion rings, cheese curds, etc. I am VERY UPSET as Gaylord has nearly ZERO places to eat for a Celiac that is actually safe. Plus I LOVED eating here!!😭

We had a great experience here - probably the best Culver’s we’ve ever been too.
They directed us toward their allergen guide for us to make selections.
They explained that the fries are gluten Free and they have a separate fryer. They input our order as allergy - gluten free. And said they would take measures to avoid cross contamination. Our three with celiac were able to safely enjoy - double cheese burgers on gluten free buns (come out in Sealed package), cashew chicken salad, fries and vanilla milkshakes.

This Culver’s location is great! They have a dedicated fryer for their fries and a septum sealed GF bun in its own package for their burgers! And they put on the receipt to make sure it was safe

Love Culver’s! I had to stop eating their fries because of cross contamination but I usually am fine eating a butter burger no bun. I have gotten sick once but I eat there quite often.

Staff had no idea what I meant when I said "celiac." *cue eyeroll* ugh. Then I asked if has a dedicated gf fryer & staff member said, "Ummmmm, let me check?" Already knew how this was going @ this point. Staff came back & reported no....so I bolted, bc no dedicated fryer & no idea what celiac or gluten is? No thank youuu! #notceliacsafe
