We went for drinks/snacks while walking around and had a great experience. Everything is GF except the chips and the fish taco (it's fried). I was looking forward to guacamole and they were kind to substitute the chips with fresh corn tortillas. My husband got the street corn and it was delicious as well

Best Mexican food I’ve had in the US. Been here twice in the 4 days we’re in town. Tacos and quesadillas are amazing, everything on the menu is GF except one fried item. Definitely recommended

The only thing on the menu with gluten is the fish tacos, so stay away from anything fried, including the chips. That said, I loved this place and ate there three times in four days. I had the Fiesta Vegana platter all three times and would highly recommend it! They only serve gluten removed beer, so I recommend a margarita with your meal! Cheers!

Fun little place in the French Quarter! The menu says everything except the tortas are gluten-free. We still let our server know we needed to be gf, and he assured us it all would be. My celiac daughter had a chicken taco and ate every bite- she loved it! No issues for her at all.

Everything on the menu except the chips and catfish are gluten free. They told us they no longer make the Tortas (sandwiches) which were also not gluten free.
The waiter explained to us that while they make the chips in house from corn, they fry them in the same fryer as the breaded catfish so if you are celiac and cross contamination is an issue avoid the chips.
They explained that if we wanted to order chips and salsa/guac/queso they would bring out fresh tortillas instead so my wife could still enjoy the appetizer.
All the tacos (except catfish) were gluten free and our food was very good. They seem very knowledgeable about the allergy.

Our server was amazing! I didn’t ask her name, we ordered takeout. We walked up 15 min before closing and she was so happy and kind. My daughter was in a sling because we had just left the ER and just wanted to find something hot to eat at 11:45pm. She made sure Tony cleaned a table for us so we could sit and wait for our food, which came out quickly. We drove to our hotel, about 15 minutes away, and the food was still very hot. We enjoyed it all.

For was amazing and very safe. They make the corn tortillas here, and they don't even serve flour tortillas!
Great tacos! We loved the guacamole and tacos. The service was awesome and they keep great hours.
Yes
Excellent. They work well with allergies and different culinary lifestyles. Menu states all items are GF except Doe the Torta sandwich and the fried tacos capeados. Shared fryer so, if you’re sensitive to cc, don’t get the fried tortilla chips. Ask for warm corn tortillas instead. Guacamole is the bomb. Queso w/ vegan chorizo is excellent. Chicken enchiladas with the bean sauce are outstanding. Hubby ordered the stuffed potato and said it was great. I’m a pretty sensitive celiac and did NOT get sick. Highly recommend. It’s nice to have variety while in NOLA as most restaurants cater to seafood and Cajun cuisine.
Yes
The guacamole and tacos were amazing! We will definitely come back. They are open until 5 am!!
We loved this spot. Really excellent tacos, carne asada with a dribble of the excellent salsa negra on top was my favorite. The guacamole is not to be missed - shared fryer, so ask for some warm tortillas to scoop with. My new favorite way to eat guac. And their horchata is homemade and truly the best I’ve ever had!
Yes
Excellent food. No dedicated frier.
Yes
deliscious tacos, quesadillas and guacamole! all the menu is gf except for 2 type of dishes that the waiter pointed out when i asked. reasonably priced, would recommend
Fantastic gluten free menu!! Nachos were outstanding.

Loved this little Mexican taqueria! Lots of GF choices, delicious margaritas and fun time. Next time in New Orleans this is a must do for us.
Yes
Excellent! Highly recommend. everything GF except a sandwich
Yes
Everything on the menu was gluten free except for 3 or so items. Even had a gluten free beer! Service was fantastic too. Best restaurant I’ve been to since being diagnosed 3 years ago
Yes
The menu says specifically that everything except 2 items are gluten free. It was a cute little restaurant. I had 2 shrimp tacos (wasn’t a huge fan of the seasoning on the shrimp but still fine and I ate it!) and I had a cheese quesadilla. We got chips and salsa for the table, very fresh and spicy! I didn’t get sick and would definitely go back!
Nice little spot with great tacos, we were pleasantly surprised by how good they are.
Yes
The food was mediocre unfortunately. Carne asada and carnitas were over cooked and tough, the chicken was marginally better. Visiting from AZ, I don’t know if this is a south east thing, but have never been to a Mexican restaurant that cooked their salsa before and it was gross. I really wanted to love this place since everything but two items on the menu are gluten free. If you are desperate for a safe space for gf food and don’t much care about the taste, then this is the place. Drinks weren’t bad at least.
Yes
Tour de Mexico and queso fundido were delicious and I had no symptoms.
Yes
We ate here 2 times during our trip. Food was amazing! The best guacamole I have ever had! The Tacos Al Pastor was my favorite and loaded with meat. I would definitely recommend this place.
Yes
The top of the menu states that the entire menu is GF except for two items. I asked about chips being in a dedicated fryer, and was told that there wouldn’t be anything with wheat in the fryer, so I would be ok. (The kind waitress told me her roommate has celiac disease, so she understood what my needs were.) My only hesitation is the fried tacos, which they admit on the menu are not gluten free... where are they fried? Regardless, tacos and tropical guacamole was good! Substantial portions.
Yes
Great place in the French Quarter. Husband had no problems. Guacamole is best we’ve had!
Rude staff. Asked about allergies refused to answer and was turned away.
The menu is clearly marked that all dishes except for one sandwich are gf. A delicious and quiet spot in the Quarter. Get the mole!
Yes
The menu looked promising as almost all things were marked gluten free, but upon receiving my tacos I thought the tortillas seemed a little off. I asked my server to make sure they were corn and she said that they were so I ate them. About half an hour later I realized I was glutened and had a horrible reaction. I would not recommend going here.
