They wouldn’t cook gluten free pasta in separate water. They said it was precooked and they were too busy to boil water just for us. We decided not to stay.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I had expected gluten free pasta, but when the server said they also do chicken and veal parmigiana gluten free I jumped at the opportunity. When our food arrived, it was followed by the chef (I guess) running out to tell me something on the plate was definitely not gluten free. (I think the veal, but everyone was heavily accented and hard to understand.)

We also did specify that we wanted a crouton free salad and were brought one with croutons for the table, at the same time the waitress apologized for not having GF bread, but not sure if she realized croutons has gluten… (?)

Eventually I got my recooked meal and they did not charge, but it really wasn’t anything better than what I could cook at home. My husband also ordered a seafood special that was supposed to be rockfish with shrimp and scallops, and received veal-wrapped shrimp. The waitress didn’t even catch that the meal was not what he ordered, so also troubling.

Go to coastal salt. So close and sooooo much better in knowledge and value.

It seems like this place has an ongoing issue with running out of GF pasta. In a review I read, they told the people who were ordering that they had GF pasta and then later told them they didnt. Because of this, I decided to CALL before even going to make sure they had GF pasta. And I was told that yes, they did and she asked if we would be coming in and I said yes. Fast forward to going, being seated, and then ordering, I am told there is no GF pasta. We speak to the manager who tells us sorry but cant do much else. I end up ordering a salad with chicken which was pretty good. The server comes back and tells me they are going to make GF pasta but it will be an extra 20 minutes. I say no, the salad is fine. The server was very kind about everything and wanted to make us happy. In the future, the they need to make extra GF pasta and be prepared for these kinds of things since it seems like this happens frequently.

My boyfriend and I went here after checking the reviews because we wanted a nice seafood pasta dinner. After getting there, we told the waiter that we needed GF pasta, to which he said it was “no problem”, and even brought out our salad without croutons as requested. About 20 minutes into the meal, he comes out and say “oh, your pasta will be done in about 3-4 minutes”, which is fine. Well, about 10-15 minutes later, he comes out and says that they actually don’t have gluten free pasta at all, but he’ll still charge us for the salad, which is technically complimentary. So, he brings the bill out and asks us to pay $15 for a salad (which is tiny especially between two people), even after we just sat there for about 30-40 minutes and won’t even get our meals. Thankfully, the manager was very nice and accommodating and didn’t make us pay. However, we left because I just didn’t feel comfortable being there anymore. I can’t stress enough to MAKE SURE THEY HAVE GF PASTA BEFORE THE WAITER TELLS YOU THEY DO!!!!

I called ahead to ask if they have GF options and was told that they have GF pasta. My daughter and I have been GF for 13 years and she is allergic to shellfish and tomatoes. I spoke with the manager who was lovely and helped decide what to order. The butter, lemon, garlic SAUCE has wheat flour to thicken it. Every dish is made individually so she had them make ours without adding flour. I had a special, pasta with shrimp and scallops. The seafood was cooked perfectly. They made up a dish that wasn't offered on the menu for my allergy kid...pasta with chicken and asparagus. We were a party of 12 and everyone enjoyed their food.

If you are celiac, be careful here. Talk to the manager first thing and be specific about what you need. She was open, warm, professional and helpful.

Upon request they will make gluten free dishes and they have a gluten free pasta available each night. Not recommended for Celiac however, bc the salad came with croutons.
