Symptomatic Celiac

I ordered steak bites. I made it very clear I have an allergy even though the menu didn’t state any seasoning or sauce I told her to tell the chef!! I get my steak bites and took a whole piece in my mouth and realized there is a “soy sauce” flavor. Asked the waitress to talk to the chef and he said it was indeed soy spice and not gluten free!! I did not order anything else since I didn’t feel i could trust the chef. Waitress was very nice and apologetic. I did have a reaction😢
