The owner and her daughter are both celiacs. This bakery is 100% gluten free and everything I've tried is absolutely delicious!! they even do a large variety of gluten free paczkis around paczki day! Absolutely cannot recommend them enough. Plus the owners are incredibly sweet and deserve the business

Dedicated GF. Used to do both GF and non-GF but has shifted to fully GF. One of the owners has celiac, daughter who works there has a serious wheat allergy so they get it. Prices were reasonable and the pastries were tasty. They also do custom cakes. We’ll be back for sure!

Stopped into this little cafe and couldn't believe the variety of gluten free pastries on offer! It is my understanding that they used to do both gluten & gluten free and are now totally gluten free. Many of the items are also free from other allergens, but you'll have to ask the friendly staff for specifics. I tried the chocolate chip muffin and the cinnamon roll, both which were amazing and had the right texture to please gluten-eaters as well. I also saw on their Facebook page that you can custom order pinterest-worthy celebration cakes and cupcakes. This place is a gem!

We have a new favorite bakery and it’s got Dalton’s Cakes written all over it! I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience I had, just 5 stars across the board! I called on Thursday to place an order for Mother’s Day, hoping I didn’t wait too late and they absolutely hit it out of the park! So easy to order, super knowledgeable and informative and they spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me discussing the GF and DF nature of their ENTIRE space. The options are endless, the prices are very reasonable and the staff really bring a passion to what they do. Needless to say I can’t wait for Mother’s Day to break into our bouquet of cupcakes tomorrow! It all smelled so good I couldn’t resist picking up a lemon bar to try in the meantime and it was phenomenal!

My family and I have eaten the Dalton bars (raspberry; caramel) Dalton cakes (blueberry; raspberry almond), muffins, and cheesecake. Delicious, delicious, delicious. It's not a large bakery, but they offer plenty of items in a variety of creative flavors. (An Oreo Dalton cake with gluten-free Oreos? Yes, please. Apple cider donuts on a crisp, fall morning? Thank you.) You can also order cakes (which require advance notice).

They have a gluten-full section, but it is smaller than their gluten-free section. They also offer items that are both gluten-free and dairy-free. There are vegan items, too. They are in individual display cases, which is really helpful. (It's nice to know exactly what is available that meets my family's needs, instead of having to pick and choose when it's all lumped together. It also reassures me that they take cross-contamination seriously.)

The customer service has been great each time we've been there. The owner and employees are happy to answer questions you might have. There is seating indoors and outdoors, cafe style.

Incredible family-owned bakery with great food! We ordered assorted cupcakes which tasted delicious and were completely indistinguishable (according to my non-celiac family) from normal cupcakes. They were very knowledgeable about ALL allergens, including cross contamination. They even made sure we knew that one ingredient was made in a facility with almonds; I've never been to a restaurant where they actually knew how serious cross-contamination was. I am particularly sensitive to gluten and a dozen cupcakes later I was perfectly fine!

Update: I have been coming here for over a year now. Literally every pastry they bake is delicious. Also, I've learned that the family who owns/operates the place has celiac themselves, which is why they do so well taking the proper precautions. They're all incredibly nice people who take their jobs seriously and make phenomenal food! Celiac or not, you have to check out this bakery.

My favorite gf restaurant/bakery. I wish they were located near where I go to school. The nicest staff, always willing to accommodate food requests, cake orders, etc. everyone at my graduation party thought the cake was the best they had ever had, and it was gluten free. Staff was unbelievably kind. When they realized I was newly diagnosed they sat with me to help me decide cupcakes for graduation and even let us sample them for free. Celiacs runs in the family and the recipes have been passed down. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

The owner and her daughter are amazing and so knowledgeable about Celiac. It’s the first time since my husband and daughter were diagnosed with Celiac that I’ve found a bakery that caters to them. I bought an assortment of treats including a cinnamon roll and all of the desserts were amazing! I’m looking forward to the next celebration so I can order a cake.

So many baked goods and they have gluten free wraps ( they were out when I went ) but the staff was amazing and she easily gave me another option to wrap in lettuce! there's so many GF options here. They have gluten free wraps if you're looking for lunch. And the dessert selection is awesome for GF. I have tried the lemon bars, raspberry bar, sugar cookie, and the cinnamon roll. All of them were delicious. the sugar cookie is nicely decorated and wrapped up, so it's also a nice little gift for a gluten free friend.

Great service, friendly people, good prices and tasty food. Not super fancy but a real homey, comfortable atmosphere.

Amazing!!! Simply amazing! My daughter has Celiac and it brightens her day when we go to Dalton's. They always bring out new goodies from the back. Muffins, cupcakes, cookies, brownies....she loves everyone of them! And the owners and staff are wonderful! So nice to have a good GF Bakery! We will be ordering her birthday cake soon!

The owner and all the females in her family have celiac. Just tell them you have celiac and they will go into the back to get you whatever you need. They have separate prep areas for all GF goods. Got to chat with them and hear their story and it was great to find a place where I can get baked goods. The sugar cookies are amazing and the cupcakes are moist and light. I would highly recommend this as a must visit spot for any celiac. They also have dine in food options for celiacs

FANTASTIC gluten-free sandwiches, salads, and the cupcakes?? OH MY! I had the Greek Wrap (wrap is made from Teff and was awesome). The chocolate cupcake I had was also dairy-free. The owners are a lovely couple too. I will definitely be back!! We need places like this in northern Lake County!

Dalton's Cakes has daily gluten-free options and will do special orders for Gluten free cakes and cupcakes. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly and their baked goods are great. They have a dedicated area in the kitchen for gluten free baking. The owners family members have celiac disease so they are very knowledgeable about gluten free diets.
