My meal at this restaurant is probably one of the best meals I've eaten. The gluten-free menu is large.I had duck, tender, perfectly cooked, pink in the middle. The sauce on it is sweet but not overly, complimenting the delicious fowl. Served with polenta and root vegetables, a delight to the senses. The meal started with a tasty gluten free roll. I was too full for dessert but tasted my husband's crème brulée, very nice. The waiter, Daniel, is professional but not stuffy, very kind and conversational. It is expensive, but deserves another reservation.
Wish I could give it a higher rating but this is the 3rd time coming here where we left disappointed. For such an expensive restaurant, you expect the best. Pizza crust is dry, flat and brittle. Paninis are an over toasted udis roll. When they brought me my Panini it came with french fries, and I said oh wow the french fries are gluten-free? And they immediately grabbed them for me saying- no no that is not gluten-free and I said I need the whole meal to be gluten free and they said oh the paninis is- and were not willing to take it back to the kitchen. The server said yeah i kept telling them it had to be gluten free but was worried they wouldn’t listen. Not worth the price or hassle.
The staff were knowledgeable about the separate gluten free menu. Many options to choose from including appetizers and desserts. The server was friendly and the service was outstanding. The prices are typical for an upscale restaurant. Policies in place to reduce risk of cross contact. Pizza cooked in same oven but separate area and utensils. My pizza was brought to the table separately from the other meals. I enjoyed the complimentary bread and the pizza was good. No ill effects from eating here and will definitely go back. As a sensitive celiac, I felt as safe as possible at a non dedicated restaurant.
The staff was extremely attentive and they offered me an entire gluten free menu when I asked. They made sure I knew my food was gluten free and even offered me gluten free bread when the rest of the table got theirs. I ordered the chicken panini, which wasn’t really a panini. It was a piece of chicken with prosciutto and cheese on top and a hot roll on the side. Not really what I was expecting and I was a little disappointed because I was so excited for my first gluten free panini. It tasted alright, mostly just like a chicken breast covered in cheese. The chef/waiters also gave me complimentary fingerling potatoes which were also good. A little disappointed, but I imagine if you ordered something else it would be great. Staff was really amazing. Mimosas and Bellinis were great too.
Amazing! I’ve been to another location and it’s been kept under my phone number that I have Celiac so they knew when i made the reservation. Separate gluten-free menu brought to me without my having to ask. Delicious gluten-free popovers brought to the table in their own basket (with a black napkin liner to indicate GF. Our server was very on top of our order. A manager brought my food to me, separately from the rest of the table. It was a great experience again!
Great gluten free menu all made to order. Lots of gf pasta choices and a great gf panini.
My wife has celiac and today was her birthday. She had said that she wanted to get Italian for her birthday, and I thought this place would be a great option since it has a gluten free menu. They even let us put our dietary restrictions on the reservation. When we got there, we quickly realized that our waiter was not being attentive to our gluten free needs. When ordering, we tried to make it as clear as possible that the gluten restriction was because of an allergy, but the waiter was not very attentive. A few hours later, we found out my wife got glutened by something we ate at the restaurant. They lure you in by letting you put your restrictions on the reservations and having gf menus ready for you, but don’t fall for it. If you have celiac, avoid this place at all costs.
Great service, attention to details and gf accommodations from start to end. Didn’t get sick (celiac).
This restaurant has an extensive gluten free menu. They specialize on gluten free options.
