I am GF and saw Deanie’s had a dedicated fryer and they did oysters, catfish, and shrimp fried in a yellow corn batter. It was absolutely amazing! The catfish wasn’t too fishy and that and shrimp were so tender. The staff was over-the-top knowledgeable, even proud, of the fact that they had a dedicated fryer. Haven’t had fried shrimp or catfish in almost 30 years!
