Their tamales are gluten free and amazing. Can never go wrong with Delia’s.

There’s so many different types of tamales pork, spicy pork, chicken , cream cheese and jalapeño etc. plenty of options to choose from, you can’t go wrong.

Staff is very friendly and you can order ahead of time. They also do deliveries to other parts of the state. So if there isn’t a Delia’s in your county they will deliver frozen dozens within 24 hours. Amazing.

Delicious! I tried the pork and am not Disappointed. The green sauce is very hot and spicy, the red sauce not so much. If I could give them more stars I would. They say people come from Houston with huge coolers, fill them up and go home. I know why.

Yes

Unfortunately they are not free, emails asking further questions on their gluten free claim will not even be responded to. Gluten free claim was recently removed from bags and website. However even before removing it they would not not respond when asked for clarification on this claim, cross contamination, etc.

The tamales are no longer GF. I found out after I got sick. My fault for not checking, but we’d been eating them for YEARS. I was going to call because when we got our order there was a visible box of donuts near the cash register, so I thought it was cross contamination, and I wanted to just have them think about their policies on other foods in the check out area. But when I went to the website I realized that all the GF verbiage was gone. I reached out through FB and their contact us… multiple times… no answer. Finally called and the person said they are no longer GF :-(

Used to go as they advertised that they were GF. Recently, I read where people didn’t feel well after dining here. Call to verify GF status.

I just tested both the chicken tamales and cream cheese/jalapeño tamales on my Nima gluten free tester and they came back as GLUTEN FOUND!!!!!!

Do not trust that they are “gluten free”, they aren’t. It must be some seasoning they use that contaminates the tamales.
