Small gluten free menu. It gives you good options and a heads up as to what to avoid . I think there's a high risk of cross contamination because I felt a little sick afterwards.
Be sure to ask for the gluten free menu to make sure you're ordering items that are safe.
Love this place, make sure you ask for the gluten free menu and confirm your server is aware of what that truly means. Haven't had any issues and food is great!
I had the Chicken Parm. w/o breading and gluten free pasta. It was delicious!!! I had no reaction. Thank you Delmonico cooks for doing a nice job. I was able to eat with my family without feeling different! Donna, Albany NY

Ate there around the Holidays & got sick afterwards. Was surprised as I am not super sensitive -ordered a chicken dish w/mashed potatoes off the gf menu. Turned out to be food poisoning. Won't go back.

I'd eaten at Delmonico's a couple of times before I started eating gluten free, and it was always a nice environment with pretty good food. However, after going gluten free, I ate there, and ordered a pasta dish off of the gluten free menu that they have there. I don't know what it was, but it made me incredibly sick (and I am not super sensitive to gluten - usually I don't have to worry about cross contamination). I've been pretty much terrified to go back so I don't know if it was a one time thing but, just a word of warning, I suppose.
It was an ok visit. Very dark inside the one area we were sitting. Their special delmonico steak was better the the my strip. The onions and mushrooms had a strange seasoning to them I didn't like them. Huge baked potato and antipasto salad. Hubs said their one beer was kinda flat. We did get a free cannoli cause it was our anniversary but I can't eat it cause it isn't gluten free. Tummy is kinda hurting don't know if the salad dressing was too rich for me or what. Music was on the loud side hard to hear our server and each other. UPDATE tummy totally killing me now. Can't figure out what caused it since the only thing I have eaten was from dinner. Won't be eating there again
Knowledgeable staff eager to please, decent selections with true gf substitutions instead of just leaving out half the dish and they're willing to accommodate multiple allergies, speak with the chef etc.
I didn't get sick. That is the good news. Items were marked but we double checked because sauces can get questionable. One of the downsides is that the waitress was so confident that it didn't inspire confidence in me. I did eat from the edges of my plate because I felt like that was a source of cross contact bringing the dishes out to the tables. The other downside has nothing to do with food. It was the first restaurant I've been to in awhile where groups of people were smoking at the entrance. Odd. Anyway, a family member loves this place and I would go again to have a meal out with them.

Big Italian restaurant. New York style with Syracuse regional specials. Great gluten free options. Very knowledgeable about gluten ingredients. Ordered veal Marsala. First time I have seen this made gluten free in a restaurant. Pasta excellent. Will be back but advise you to look at menu carefully and confirm with server if you have celiac.
Plenty of gf options. Host and servers attentive. My celiac daughter enjoyed filet mignon and mashed potatoes with no issues!

Have been here many times before and had no issues but have always ordered the Delmonico. Tonight I order the Veal Marsala with gluten free penne. Meal came out I had a few bites and realized they had spaghetti mixed in with the penne when our server specifically noted that penne was the only gluten free noodle. They took it back, apologized and said they would make a new one. My wife then asked for the garlic mashed instead of the penne so we could be sure it was GF. It came out 20 min later while my wife refused to eat without me and her meal was cold by the time it came out (her fault not theirs.) The bill comes and they comped the first one and charged for the second one and the up charge on the mashed. I had, had enough by then so we just paid and left. Probably could have complained and had something done but they should have done something to begin with.
