While the pizza was great I wasn't sure with each bite if it was safe to eat. When the pizza was served. there was a receipt on it that said "almost gluten free". my guess is because of cross contamination. and although separate fryer advertised I was informed that was not the case for the hot wings and fries when I arrived. maybe due to busy holiday weekend?
I haven't had a cheesesteak since being diagnosed with my gluten intolerance, 5 years ago. They have the BEST gf rolls and cheesesteak. I savored every bite and will definitely be back. They were very knowledgable. It is so hard to find a restaurant that offers gluten free food down the shore, and this one not only offers it, but hit it out of the park.
Great customer service, once we asked about gluten free options we were greeted and asked about gluten tolerance and they offered to use an entire separate oven. They were very attentive and didn't use the typical prepared gf pizza so we could request the pizza without cheese and added a topping. Very happy and will return.
We have ordered pick up two times during our vacation and have been very pleased! The GF pizza is better than any pizza we've had! However it does take 40 minutes to prepare, as I was told they clean the oven first, so be sure to allow for that time. They did not have the GF rolls, but they prepared a cheesesteak for us and put it in a container that we brought home and put in our own roll. Our celiac son has been feeling good all week!!! Since they do table side pizza tossing, I wouldn't eat in the restaurant though.
So disappointed. My family went here a few weeks ago based on the first review about the pizza. it was awful. it is the same salty cardboard frozen crust served at other restaurants. When we arrived, the hostess I formed me that they were probably out of gluten free rolls. Then the waitress told me no they had rolls, but she didn't think they had any of the pizza crust. Well, she found for out they did have the crust, but I shouldn't have ordered it. While waiti g for our dinners, my son went up to the counter to ask amd make sure that the gelato was gluten free. the woman behi d the counter said, "i dont know, isnt gluten just in cakes and stuff?" He turned to the waitress who was standing there getting gelato for a table and she VERY rudely told him that she didn't have time for this. My pizza finally arrived after the rest of my family was finished eating, I had it boxed up and ate it at home. Really, I couldn't get put of there fast enough. it is a shame because it had so much potential.
This was probably the worst gf pizza Ive ever had. It is a bit bigger than some g f pizzas but def wont return to eat here. also the puzza takes 40plus minutes to cook which we weren't told and it was an hour before we received our food. they gave us free gelato but two crying kids and awful food and still having to pay for the meal we will def not go back. if you dont have to eat gf it looked fun bc regular kids got to toss pizza which also was upsetting for celiac kids. overall not good experience.
Had their gluten free pizza for the first time tonight and they were by far the best gf pizza I've ever had!! Great service and the owner made sure I was well taken care of. She also showed me that they use a separate oven and kitchen area to prepare pizza and meals!
