They did bring out gravy on the side but made sure they knew I could not have it

Food is tasty but not 100% confident about the safety. I’ve also had the cornbread being put on my plate after asking for GF only, like others here.

A savory experience in a spacious restaurant! Would recommend.

I am enormously sensitive and had no reaction at all. The staff was knowledgeable about celiacs' needs and helped with the gluten-free menue. As other reviews mentioned to have experienced cross-contamination, I asked them to take extra care and they assured me they would. And everything went just fine.

I had a "Combo Plate" to try out their variety of meats. And it was a great choice. A real barbecue fest!

My favorites were the ribs (so savory and tasty!) and the beans (tasted simply delicious!).

The pulled pork and coleslaw were good. The brisket just slightly tough but still good and tasty.

Staff was a little slow when it came to taking the order and processing the bill but food arrived very promptly (the venue was not highly occupied though).

I'd definitely come back.

Note , same as others have said. Service waas good. They work on autodrive in the kitchen apparently. Even when you mention gluten free, they still put the cornbread on top of your meat. We were there at opening time 4pm, with no crowd, and my wife who is gluten intolerant, asked for no cornbread, remove it from the order. And she still got cornbread on top of her meat. Server did not pick up on it eitBBQ. . Overall, good bbq. We used to go to the one in Rochester before my wife's diagnosis, so we're not sure if they had gf options.

Unfortunately got sick here. I've been before with no issues, but this time (as many of the other reviews say) my plate came out with cornbread. I asked if it was GF and she said no, said they would "replate" my dinner. I think they may have just removed the bread and sent it back out.

I think this can be safe but you have to be super vigilant.

Had a separate GF menu and all of their BBQ sauces were GF as well.

I had the ribs and brisket with greens, coleslaw and baked beans. It was all delicious and hit the spot. Our server knew what to do when I said I was GF. They typically bring out the platter with corn bread on it and we double checked and she said they wouldn’t be since I said I was GF.

Felt great after eating here and would recommend!

Rich GF Menu! Food is great and there’s a lot to choose from. Very reasonably priced. The place has a nice vibe, very spacious and service is good.

Their GF menu had many good options. They brought my food with a piece of cornbread on it (the cornbread is not GF), but when I asked the waiter about it he was very apologetic and they remade it. The food, especially the sausage, was delicious. I did not get sick.

Delicious BBQ for Brooklyn, very good bar, never had any cross contamination issues. The key, as usual, let them know if you are celiac. Manager brings out plate which is different than a general diners plate.

GF menu is available. Staff not super knowledgable but aware and helpful for food allergies and celiac. My daughter had the honey chicken wings and was fine. The dinner plates seem to come with a piece of corn bread. I didn't get a chance to ask if it was GF or not. Corn bread was not specifically listed on the Gf menu. So make sure to confirm to avoid sending a plate back. Hoisin chicken wings are listed on the GF menu which surprised me since hoisin sauce is typically not GF.

Honestly, I feel 75% of the time they get it absolutely right. I have no idea about cross-contamination policies.

I usually feel ok/good after, I did eat their wings and felt like I was going to get sick to my stomach immediately. That was over a year ago though.

Ribs are so good! Love the food, recommend the mashed potatoes as a side for sure!

Haven’t been in a long time. A bit pricey but serving sizes are great.

Separate GF menu with a separate allergen folder. The manager brought out the GF separate from the rest of the food. Our daughter who is Celiac and sensitive to cross contamination had a great meal. We'll definitely be back!

We ate at an event where Dinosaur BBQ supplied the food. The host requested everything GF and explained there was someone with Celiac. I also called to get my own comfort level. I felt very reassured by the person on the phone that they take great caution in their preparation to avoid cross contamination. She even told me "if the host is serving GF rolls, make sure your son goes through the line first to avoid cross contamination." That told me that she understood.

The food was delicious and my son felt safe eating it.
