Had a great experience here, overall every time I dine at Dishoom I’ve always had such a great experience with such lovely and welcoming staff always at hand. They have changed the menu since September so the masala prawns aren’t gluten free but the chicken tikka, gunpowder potato was amazing also not forgetting the chocolate lava cake is to die for!!!! Highly recommend and one of my fav places to eat with the family. Such a vibe and atmosphere!
You have to access the allergen menu online, but it even has if “may contain gluten”. The wait staff let me know about possible cross contamination and asked if I was celiac or intolerance. They announced what was gluten free vs not gluten free when they brought it to the table - my boyfriend got naan.
Double check with staff about cross contamination - not everything on the gf menu is suitable for celiacs! That said, I was blown away by the manager’s attention to detail in working with me to determine what I could and could not eat to avoid possible traces or cross contamination. While unfortunately that meant I couldn’t have everything on the GF menu and had relatively limited choices, what I did have was safe and incredibly delicious. The staff was very careful when bringing food to our table as my partner had ordered naan. Overall the experience was incredibly safe, pleasant, and tasty!
