Staff knowledgeable, I was told they can't be 100% safe as there is gluten in the kitchen however they take measures to reduce cross contamination. Delicious meal and friendly servers.

Favorite place to go in morro bay as a celiac. I think the owners wife had celiac or something like that. I always get the 4 cheese pasta, it’s amazing.

Our server was very accommodating and assured me that they will take celiac precautions seriously. She did mention that flour is “in the air”, which is a risk that (for me, at least) is worth it to finally be able to eat good Italian food! I got the GF Marco’s Summer Chicken and it was amazing. Husband and sister in law got non-GF items they loved as well.

I've eaten here quite a few times on vacation and have always enjoyed what I've eaten without any issues. Limited GF menu and the staff seems relatively knowledgeable.

Gluten free menu with a good selection of options. All entrees, so you need the reg menu to look at salads and apps. Food was ok. My gf pasta stuck together bit still edible. I always appreciate restaurants that make an effort by providing a gf menu and options like gf bread, but this place just wasnt that special other that.

Great dinner!! Fabulous shrimp scampi pasta. Pasta cooked in dedicated area.

Celiacs be aware.. They had a gluten free menu, which was great! No appitizers though other than bacon wrapped scallops. Was offerd regular bread and entree came with normal pasta, which we found out when we where suspisious, due to the staffs carelessness and double checked, we where right. They replaced it with gluten free pasta and appologies, Nice staff but be very carefull if your a celiac.

Great to have a place that you can trust GF. I however did not like my chicken Cacciatore. The gf pasta was undercooked and the chicken was dry and tough. Non GF diners with me loved their meals.

Hosanna and I'll have one of everything! The delicious fresh-tasting marinara sauce was heavenly, ambrosial, on pasta. Pasta cooked perfectly and so good the GF Chicano trembled with fear that the kitchen had made an error and he'd be dead in 59 minutes.

Not only did the Gluten-free Chicano survive, he returned the next night for an expensive steak with spaghetti on the side--that wasn't on the menu and the kitchen prepared it just for the Gluten-free Chicano.

So the GF Chicano learned an important lesson. Don't make assumptions about Italian places. The best restaurant in the world is Italian. It's called DiStasio's On the Bay in Morro Bay. ¡Ajua!

Great gluten free menu. Lots of options. I had great halibut with a side of gluten free pasta. It was amazing. Definitely worth the price. No reactions after the meal. I will be back if I'm in the area again

A wonderful place to eat! The staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere excellent. While numerous people did try to put bread on our table, they happily took it away again when I explained we were celiac. The dedicated gluten free menu was brought straight over when requested, and it was extensive! 12 different items in all, I believe. The dishes we ordered were delicious. My boyfriend and I were both very pleased all around with this great restaurant, and we plan to visit it again!
