Seriously?!?!? Best GF donut, or dessert, I have ever tasted in the almost 7 years I’ve been GF. I waited for 10 minutes as they needed to make more. So, I watched the staff wait on many other people. They are 100% careful with cross contamination. Always had new gloves on, used bakery tissue and/or washed their hands. GO!!!!!
I had the cinnamon sugar donuts, very good, not dry at all. This location is donuts only, not the biscuits and sandwiches in other reviewers’ photos. You walk in and place your order at the counter, and there is no where on site to sit and eat.
First day they were sold out late afternoon. Went back next morning. Super disappointing!!! Ordered 2 vanilla with sprinkles. They were okay. Not great, but at least the frosting keeps them from drying out. Ordered 2 cinnamon sugar. Big bulky things that are dry as a bone. Would not go back!
Had the chocolate donut. I was asked if it should be in a separate bag. That should have been the first red flag. They should know not to touch anything gluten with GF. The donut was very cold and dry. I could only eat the top since the chocolate made it digestible. Then I got sick.
3 gf flavors, Cinnamon sugar, vanilla with chocolate glaze and vanilla with vanilla glaze and sprinkles. Definitely call and order ahead, they don’t make many and can sell out. Dedicated fryer. Cinammon sugar are lighter and fluffier, other 2 flavors are more dense and dry
Went here expecting to not be able to have the gf option as I am very sensitive celiac. Pleasantly surprised to hear that they had a separate fryer and separate preparation area, as well as the donuts being in a separate display. They were very knowledgable and said that they take gluten free very seriously. Will be going back
A must-have while in Chicago! OMG, gluten free donuts were absolutely delicious. They are large, sort of like little cakes, but definitely 10/10 recommend. I had the cinnamon one and the vanilla frosted and I have zero complaints. The GF donuts were labeled in the showcase and in a completely separate area from the rest of the donuts. For $2.95/each they were large and had so much taste. The taste of the dough itself was just incredible!
Gluten free heaven! Omg they taste like real donuts! Do not miss this while you're in town. I read another celiac reviewer who said she cried. I didn't cry, but I cheered. I was never a big donut lover, but once in a blue moon I'd want one, and I've tried many gluten free donuts over the past several years. They never tasted like real donuts. These are cake donuts, but they're not heavy as bricks and they have a nice little bit of crispness on the outside. Omg! No cappuccino or lattes, just coffee, so if you want that with your donuts, stop at the Starbucks on the corner first. Or somewhere with better coffee drinks if you know of a place.
Delicious donuts, ordered the day before and had them delivered to the hotel so we could get the ones we wanted without waiting ($9 delivery fee). They're much taller then I thought and were great, just wish they had a little less grease; close to a gf Krispy Kreme style. Well def order again.
The gluten free donuts are delicious especially if you are lucky enough to get a cinnamon sugar one warm! Only down side is they don't make very many and they go fast so you may have to convince them to make more and wait 30 ninutes for them. To me it was worth the wait.
