I was so excited to eat here after reading all the positive reviews, and the wait staff was immediately so attentive and well informed. Unfortunately, my Nima sensor tested positive in both the Mary’s chicken and squash risotto. I ended up just eating a charcuterie board and Brussels sprouts. Also, the chef with a celiac wife no longer works there.

Not very many gluten free options, but neither my partner or I got sick, so that's a win! The staff is knowledgeable about gluten and Celiac's and they will point out to you what can be made gluten free off the menu. There isn't a separate gluten free menu. Food was tasty, just a bit pricey (not surprising given the area).

Had the chicken au jus and it was great! Also had the olives. As with everything in SF, it's expensive, but it's a nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere.

No GF menu, but the staff were able to point out a handful of items which either were GF or could be made GF. Offered GF pasta, prepared in fresh water. Overall, the food was good and the service was attentive. Our experience was celiac-friendly (no one got sick).

Food was really good and the waitress was able to tell me what I could eat as celiac and what not. The menu was not that big but they had a few gluten free options and I have chosen a salad with quinoa and french fries and both was really awesome! If there would be more options for more afforded prices I would definitely go back!

My husband and I were in SF early for a show at the Orpheum and decided to find a place to eat. Dobbs was the closest so we headed over. It was a Tuesday night and they seemed relatively busy but were able to seat us right away. They were attentive, asked if we were seeing a show(and therefor on a time crunch) and got our order going right away. We split a g-free pizza with sausage and onions. It was really yummy. The sauce had an excellent extra kick of spice to it. Lovely staff, great environment, excellent pizza.

Chef's wife is a celiac so I felt very comfortable eating here. Could choose from several delicious GF apps, soups, entrees, and side dishes and the waitress was well-versed in what was safe to eat. Needless to say, I left fully satisfied and did not get sick at all! I agree...I wish there were a GF dessert option...

Good experience on multiple visits based on an educated staff that will make GF substitutions as needed.

My wife and I discovered DF about 18 months ago and have been loyal ever since. They offer GF pasta, pizza, beer, and other items on a stellar menu. I've honestly never felt more welcome with a GF diet than in DF. Must addition for SF.
