Recently visited NYC with my daughter & found Don Antonio. It was hands down the best gf pizza I’ve ever eaten! All of the ingredients were fresh; they have a dedicated gf oven and the afternoon we dined there, a dedicated gf chef. The crust was soooo good—dense, but also chewy and crisp with some bend at the end of the slice. (I’m so tired of lame, soggy and thin gf pizza crust on the rare occasions that I can find a pizza place that’s safe.) Our server, Anna, was friendly and very knowledgeable about celiac disease & the need for zero cross contamination. Lots of toppings options here too. After dinner, she brought us a plate of gf churros with chocolate sauce. Just so delish!!! Zero issues afterwards—- so we ended up eating dinner there again the next evening. Can’t wait to go back again!

Was visiting NYC for the weekend and wanted that New York / Neapolitan experience in a gluten free package - not easy to do. After one misfire at another restaurant, found Don Antonio’s. Not only was the pizza so good, you wouldn’t know it was GF, they have GF arancini. On top of it all, the place is cute and the service was impeccable.

Robert the owner understands gluten-free and celiac. He gets the seriousness.

This will be the best gluten-free pizza you have ever had. Yes he uses some odd wheat flour from Italy with the gluten removed. No it is not a joke or a gimmick. I have eaten there many times and never had an issue. It is fantastic.

This restaurant is fantastic. It has a quaint, authentic Italian atmosphere and everything on the menu can be made gluten free! I had a pizza and everything was freshly handmade. No pre-made, tiny pizza bases. This restaurant makes their own dough which is fluffy and crusty like a normal pizza!! I couldn’t tell the difference between my husband’s normal pizza and my gluten free one. My pizza was 12” wide and was VERY filling. The toppings were all very fresh too so all in all, it was a very tasty and truly authentic Italian pizza. I am very happy and would recommend to any Coeliac. The only downfall is you’re charged an extra $4 for gluten free base (which I hate).

Do not eat here if you have celiac disease. They switched from soy flour to “Gluten Free WHEAT STARCH” as their primary ingredient for gf pizza. Very unfortunate as I used to LOVE their actual-gf pizza, before they started using this new crust.

I got sick ordering two GF pies via delivery. Was delicious. Maybe cross contamination was unlucky considering all the great other reviews.

I agree, one of the best GF pizzas I have ever had. We have pizza as good in Atlanta but they don’t take as much care to avoid cross-contamination so I can’t eat there. Don Antonio uses a separate space and separate oven.

Pizza was great, just like at their sister restaurant, Keste. Sangria delicious. Also had the fried potato appetizer, which was just okay. Service was fantastic. We asked for a fun place to go after dinner and the server was right on point with Lillie’s a half block away.

Without a doubt the best gf pizza ever! We told the waiter we were afraid it wasn’t gf because it was soooo good. He said he’d actually taken customers into the kitchen to see for themselves. He said people tell him all the time they can’t believe it’s gf. My husband and I both have celiac and we were in heaven. Our daughter ate the regular pizza and couldn’t believe how good it was! We are a very serious foodie family and we continue to dream about our dinner here. OUTSTANDING!!

Excellent chewy pizza! Even the vegan pizza looked and tasted delicious, and it was a big, full-sized pizza. They had two dairy-free options, marinara and vegana (vegetable). The pizza box had a gluten free sticker on it which was reassuring. This establishment is part of the Keste chain.

Tip - I googled the phone number and called in my order and it was $4 cheaper than the link here which uses the ‘slice’ app.

The gf pizza here is amazing! The dough rises just like regular crust. Our daughter was thrilled. I tried the pizza just to see what it tasted like and I couldn’t tell the difference between the regular and the gf. It’s amazing. The staff is great. They served the regular pizzas first then came back with the gf pizza and sauce “this is the gluten free pizza”. Again my daughter was in heaven. We will be back.

This pizza is exceptional. The crust is amazing & they prepare gf pizza separately if you let them know you have an allergy. I got the margarita pizza & loved it- didn’t need a bunch of toppings to be delicious. The workers are so nice & the price was great for gluten free, celiac safe pizza in NYC. They also had amazing gluten free bread that was served with the salad! I’m celiac and did fantastic here.

One note- they split receipts between your table. We are on a business trip & needed individual receipts but had to pay as a whole table.
