The Detroit style pizza was so special & delicious. Crispy cheese on sides and airy crust with a good chew. Was so close to regular Detroit style pizza. The Sicilian was also good, a solid choice but when you can have Detroit style - Detroit wins. The dough is made with a gluten free blend which includes wheat starch, so that explains the rise and taste being better than regular gf pizza. I traveled 40 minutes for this pizza and will do it again. It is special.
Very sensitive celiac and I’ve never gotten sick from this pizza. It’s my favorite tasting gfree pizza on the island!!

Called ahead to ask about gluten free options, stated they had GF Sicilian pizzas and other menu items available for dine in or take out. I asked about the cross contact procedures and the person on the phone said that no gluten comes in contact with the prep area for the GF food… so we order a large 6 slice pizza and a side of meatballs. When testing both food items on the Nima sensor both menu items came up gluten found. The manager (or possibly owner he didn’t identify himself) said that the sensor probably was faulty or it was registering gluten found because they use gluten removed wheat starch in the dough…i decided it wouldn’t be safe for me to eat. The kids enjoyed it though and said it was tasty.

Hubby and I shared a GF white pizza even had some left over for my son at home.. SO good! Crust was crispy and very tasty not like the pre-made ones. My son and I both have celiac and are extremely sensitive. No reactions at all. We got there very late at 10pm I didn't realize the stopped serving at that time. But they put my order in and made the GF pie. If you get there after 10 I think they serve whatever is in the class counter and none was Gf.. not a problem but good to know if you want to pop in late.

The GF Sicilian crust was good. Kind of airy but I guess that’s what you get. The GF meatballs were great and also made without dairy! The first time I had it I was fine but the second time I got sick. I was very upset. Maybe cross contamination of some sort? Will not be back, unfortunately.

The gluten free Detroit style is amazing! I’m celiac and very sensitive to cc and have never had an issue. They have a separate area to prepare the gf pizza and I always ask them to change gloves and be careful of cc

The best pizza I have had in the four years since I’ve been diagnosed with celiac!

I called to ask what is in their gf crust because my kids also have soy and nut allergies. The person answering the phone asked, and then said “It’s just a gluten free flour mix.” I explained that I knew that (like, what else would it be?), and was told that the chef was busy and I could call back in an hour. I told them that I would not be getting dinner from them tonight. I probably won’t ever try them, since they obviously think it’s too much trouble to answer basic questions about safety.

NOT CELIAC SAFE! Very Disappointed. Was looking forward to first meal out in 5 months as a family. Tested pizza twice with Nima gluten tester and came up gluten found. Owner could have at least comped the meal considering we had to go somewhere else to eat. Owner was eating as he was walking around restaurant and making food.

Best GF pizza I've had on Long Island!
Best GF pizza I’ve had plus they have Glutenberg GF beer. Highly recommend this place.

Best gluten free pizza, hands down! A must try if you are celiac.
Best gluten free pizza on Long Island! This place is a dream come true!
I haven’t had real pizza in 7 years. I was completely blown away from the flavor, texture, quality of ingredients care put into this pizza. Pizza so good it reminded me of my Sicilian grandmothers
Owner was knowledgeable and shared about the same ovens being used. I am not celiac but am gluten free for autoimmune reasons, but this is without a doubt the best pizza I’ve had since going gluten free 6 years ago!
Beat gluten free pizza I’ve had since being diagnosed.

My wife has celiac. Owner is very knowledgeable. We travel a lot. This is the best gluten free pizza we've ever had.!!! Other gluten free items on the menu. Soups / salads. They also serve Glutenberg beer which is 100% safe. The food is high end. This is not your typical pizza stop.

House made gluten free crust! Not the thin frozen stuff.

Owner, John, was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and celiac disease. He explained thoroughly about the precautions the restaurant uses and the quality of their ingredients used. He was genuine and caring and it reflected fully in the amazing quality of the pizza! All their gluten free flours are imported from Italy and cooked in separate pans/ovens. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a homemade (not frozen) gluten free specialty pizza.
