This was one of our local "safe" gluten free restaurants. Unfortunately, we recommended it to a dear friend needing GF food preparation. After clarifying menu items, they cooked her vegetables in the hot pasta water. She discovered this when a piece of spaghetti was served amongst her vegetables. I hope they retrain their staff on avoiding cross contamination.
Excellent GF menu. Roasted pear and chicken salad was fresh and delicious.

Well versed in gluten free dining along with great food!

Lovely decor and friendly staff, but for GF diners that is as far as it seems to go if you're looking for lunch.
The prices are high-end, and I hope the food is too, but you have to pay dinner prices for food at lunch. The staff admitted they are untrained and inexperienced serving GF diners.
The server suggested fried wonton strips and the manager came to check on us, but waited to tell me that the dressing I had chosen was not GF. She did quickly replace it. The new salad and dressing were excellent.
Doolitte's Woodfire Grill in Alexandria, MN could improve.

I love their GF menu it's full of delicious choices! They are very accommodating & asking what else they can to to serve you. My fav is balsamic sirloin skewers served with carmelized red onions and green beans on the appetizer section I add a sm Mediterranean salad and leave VERY satisfied ! A HUGE bonus is 1/2 price appetizer at happy hour. With that incentive I never hesitate to drop in! I feel pampered! Thanks to Doolittles in Alexandria MN

They brought out an appetizer of bread without My family ordering it and failed to bring out a substitute food item for my gluten free son. Would not recommend!

Hostess had us wait 10-15 minutes even though there were empty tables. People with reservations seated immediately. One other couple did not have reservations and we’re seated before us.
Once we were at our table it took 15 minutes for the waitress to bring menus. Then another 5 for our beverages and took our order. She was knowledgeable about CD.
Meals were brought out after another lengthy wait. I ordered 1/4 Spit Roasted Chicken which arrived lukewarm. It’s served with mashed potatoes and green beans. $18.95 USD. Food was good but underwhelming after the long wait.

In town to business and ate here three times. Each server was fantastic. I had three different meals and two different appetizers. I will return when I am back in town.

The waiter recommended the fire roasted chicken, and the top sirloin as the safest options. They both came with green beans, and garlic mashed potatoes. They also have some great looking GF salads, but that's it. The chicken and sides were delicious, and I felt fine after. The quality was good enough that I'd go back again in a minute. AMAZING white sangria!

Gluten free by request items are marked on the menu. Not a huge selection but entire menu is fairly limited. Pork chops and rotisserie chicken are fantastic. Be sure to let the servers know that you are gluten free as some swaps need to be made.
