Best pizza ever! Lovely little restaurant in a fantastic location. Staff were super helpful and knowledgeable about coeliac and cross contamination etc. Haven’t tasted a pizza this good since visiting Rome!!
Pizza was large, and they had a great menu for gluten free. The taste was ok. It was pretty oily, but I didn’t get sick. That’s most important! I couldn’t eat the last slice because of the oil (yes, I ate the rest…lol). A great place if you’re looking for something easy and filling. The waiter was very kind and patient to explain the precautions. He said the city of Bath takes great pride in accommodating gluten free diets. He said if you’re gluten free, Bath is the place to be! :)
One of the best GF pizzas we’ve tried! We asked the waitress on arrival how the dough/pizza is prepared and she reassured us that the dough is made separately and then cooked on a sheet of baking paper. She said the only flour that is in the oven is rice flour too. Would definitely go back!
I’d pretty much given up on pizza since I had GF & DF, so didn’t hold up much hope when I visited Bath and this place popped up in the app.
I thought I would give it a go as it had many good reviews and I am glad I did.
The staff were so great, friendly, knowledgeable and for once wasn’t treated like a leper or the usual look of “oh, you are one of those!”
It was a struggle to choose, but our waitress recommended one with a turmeric base and it was fabulous, was close to one of the best pizzas I have consumed regardless of whether it was GF/DF or not.
My partner had a similar non-GF pizza and the GF base looked the same, looked to have the same consistency and I really had to think twice about actually eating it as I thought they had made a mistake and brought me a gluten filled pizza of nightmares, but it was GF, I had no reactions of a negative kind.
I have left this a little while to review so I didn’t get “caught up in the moment” and I let it settle, but it was faultless, tasty and am now trying to work out how often I can get to Bath (4hr trip) to enjoy again
This was shockingly good pizza! I didn’t expect to find pizza this good in the UK, but clearly I was wrong. We stopped here after visiting the Roman Baths and dinner was delicious. When I asked the server about their procedures, she was very confident and explained that they wipe down the area, the dough is cooked on parchment, the chefs have clean hands/gloves, etc. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I had my boyfriend taste my crust and compare it to his gluten pizza. Because this place has sourdough pizza dough as their base, he said he could tell the difference, but having tasted mine before his, he initially would have just thought it was regular pizza dough (he actually said it was so close that had the server not explained their procedures so thoroughly and it hadn’t been announced as gluten free when it was dropped off, he would have told me to stop eating it because he thought it was regular pizza crust. It was that good!). This was a great stop and I can’t recommend it enough!
Excellent authentic Italian restaurant located in the Bath town center ! Highly recommend. I ate the best gluten-free pizza. It was very tasty and the pizza crust was amazing. They offer several different kinds of gluten-free pizza dough. The gluten-free burrata wrapped with prosciutto as a starter was delicious. They have Italian GF beer which is very good. They also have an incredible gluten-free desert pizza. Service was excellent ! All in all, a must in Bath !!!
Amazing GF Pizza! Beat GF pizza I have ever had. The service was very knowledgeable & took my allergies very seriously. I have an onion & garlic allergy along with needing my food to be GF. I had no reactions at all. I ended up trying their other location in Bath the next evening to see if they were as good, but between the two this location was much better although they both were great. I definitely would eat here again and I would choose this location of the two.
Literally the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. There are 5 different choices of crust type that are the same as all the glutenous choices. All of the toppings are gf and the pizza comes out on a separate plate that’s a different color. Our waiter asked if it was an allergy or preference and I felt super confident about the safety of the food. Also two different gf beer choices. Atmosphere was mellow, not formal. Went here with my family for lunch. The location we went to was in a cute alley way in downtown Bath.
Fantastic gluten free pizza, with a choice of four different gf bases. I have been diagnosed Coeliac all my life and this was the best gf pizza I have ever had. My family confirmed that it tasted authentic. The staff were very knowledgeable and asked if I were Coeliac. My pizza was served on a different colour plate to the rest of my family. Looking forward already to our next visit!
Very helpful and understanding staff.
The dough was the best pizza and garlic bread dough I’ve ever tried, was chewy yet crispy on the outside, something I’ve not had since being GF.
The toppings were also delicious, I had ham and mushroom and it had garlic and parsley too.
Also great for those who are not GF if you have a partner/ friend who isn’t they will also love it!
The pizza was delicious, both GF and traditional, and the service was fast and polite.
We occasionally make a 2-hour drive for the purpose of visiting Dough. Not only is it delicious pizza, it's delicious pizza where you get OPTIONS. They have something like 4 or 5 different types of gf base, and almost all, if not all, pizzas can be made with them. They have gf starters (the garlic bread is so good!), and limited gf dessert that you'll never have room for anyway. The gf pizzas are served on red plates for prevention of cc... they're so careful to protect coeliacs. You won't regret eating here!
One of the best places for pizza will definitely go back when visiting! However was disappointed to see they charge an extra £3 for a standard GF pizza base which can also be upgrade for a more adventurous based with and without gluten. Apart from that lovely staff and food with a very good selection.
Absolutely, hands down, the best GF pizza I have ever had. The dough was soft cooked to perfection. It was so good that I was worried that it was too good to be true so I waited 48 hrs before writing this review! They even made me a GF garlic bread when it wasn’t on the menu. I am in love!
Brilliant, delicious, a taste of Italy. I had a seaweed base paired with spicy Italian meats. All GF bases made in house. Excellent knowledge & beautiful food! I wish I could have tried all the pizzas & their bases! For me, just as good as GF fresh pizza made in Italy. This restaurant is a MUST if you go to bath!
I got takeaway and must just have ordered the wrong thing (meat lovers pizza) because it was so salty I was unable to eat it, which is a true first. Tons of options for different gluten free crusts though - and was told that all combinations can be made gluten free!
Excellent service. It felt so lovely to be able to have a choice- even the choice of pizza bases, which were incredible! I was informed that they do all they can to prevent cross contamination, they prepared and cut in a different area and I was happy with the level of care they provided.
Amazing experience, 5 different types of gluten free crusts to choose from. Wow!
They had soo many gluten free crust options and they were great about my other intolerances. And they came to check on me after the meal!
We had a fabulous experience here. The owner/manager took the time to explain the kitchen procedures and I felt confident eating the pizza. There were 5 or 6 GF crust options, and all toppings were GF. I got the poker pizza, with four surprise fillings, on hemp crust, and I ate every single bite. Italians know how to do GF right!
