This restaurant was so amazing and accommodating to my celiac disease. For breakfast, the chef came out every day and I ate the same French toast three days in a row, it was that good. I never had a reaction to any of the food. The dinner was a little lackluster, but as celiac’s know, we will just sometimes be thankful to eat safe food, even if it’s not the best. I was so thankful to be able to eat a meal with my family on vacation each day. Oh, and they do have a dedicated fryer for fries which was a welcome surprise. I would recommend reservations, as they do get busy.
As many of these reviews say, the chef comes out to review the menu with you. All the pastas and pizzas can be done gluten free, and they have a dedicated fryer for fries and gluten free buns. I enjoyed a delicious blackened chicken sandwich with fries! It was delivered separately from everyone else’s meals to be extra cautious.
Back again in the morning for the hotel-included buffet for breakfast. The chef came out to speak with me again. All meats, eggs, and tater tots are gluten free and prepared in dedicated spaces. The chef surprised me with gluten free French toast he prepared. It was delicious!
We went and were thoroughly impressed. 7 year old daughter is symptomatic celiac and we were nervous starting our trip, hoping she wouldn’t get sick. As soon as we said Celiac and gluten free, the server came out with the chef and talked about options. She has the kids chicken, rice and broccoli and French fries from their dedicated fryer. Because of the previous review, we asked about Mac and cheese and they made that too. I asked about new water and clean pan and they were very knowledgeable and knew all I was talking about. I had the steak which the chef made gf so my daughter could eat as well. Asked about seasoning etc. Good experience and not rushed.
Amazing! At first I read the menu and I wasn’t so sure as I didn’t see much my 8yo with celiac could have (she’s also quite picky in addition to being gf) but it had good reviews here so we tried it. She was asking me for gf Mac n cheese and after reading the menu I explained I didn’t think that would be a choice since I didn’t see any gf pasta. When we told our server she had celiac the chef (victor) came out and talked to us, he asked her what she wanted and she said “Mac and cheese!” And he said “we can do that!” So she had a plate full of gf Mac n cheese and French fries. They have a separate prep area, pasta was cooked in a clean pan with clean water, the fryer is dedicated for fries only. Her food came out separate from ours as an allergy dish. She said it was delicious and didn’t have a reaction! It was our last night in the area so we didn’t go back but the chef mentioned they also have breakfast options including gf pancakes.
We have 2 children with Celiac. The chef came out to our table and explained all of the gluten-free options. There were plenty of options. Our waiter, Marco, was fantastic and made sure the gluten-free orders were brought out separately to prevent errors. They even noted that they have a separate fryer but that it was located next to the gluten fryer.
